I am still curious if you are charging a fee for setting up the Group Buys?

all of my group buys to this date have been for free . I am setting up a website and my own cryptocurrency to back the website, we have support from manufacturers and big plans, I can say too much more yet

I am however charging a super slim margin for this group buy (first time I am not doing this for free) , you should not however be able to buy cheaper direct, if you can let me know and we can adjust price but I have the manufacturers backing here.

I have a plan to make mining gear EASILY AVAILABLE TO THE MASSES - I am also going to funnel my IRL business money into this operation

Cheers

Fair enough, I was just wondering.  I do not think there is an issue with you charging a fee, I think you should just say you are charging "a fee of $50" for example or whatever.  I have helped with group buys and it is a lot of work and there is nothing wrong with you being compensated. Wink

And not a single sane person will pay $1600 for 280 MH/s @ 1100 watt, when 500 MH/s @ 800 watt can be purchased for $1700.
Agreed except for the minor detail that the L3+ has been hijacked by the manufacturer and you basically cant get any for that price...

The first batch of L3+ have been delivered already and are hashing away at 504Mh/s

thanks!

Not sure "stranded" is the proper word here.

Yes, there are some on ebay, however most are "pre orders", in other words, they are not on-hand for immediate shipping. Angry
The cheapest I can see right now is $4550 for the 504MHs version (may 10th shipping Huh)
On the vendor site, these are listed as $1299, but you can't get them as they appear to be holding the stock and not shipping.

At least the A4's are available today, while the L3+ is not available from the vendor at this time, and im not sure they will be delivering on-time for the May/July batches.
Ive heard that many users have not received their paid-for rigs.
Can anyone update the shipping status? Anyone receive an L3+ recently?

Doubt it. The L3/L3+ have significant benefits over the A4.
You can get the A4 directly from inno at: http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a4-miner/
However, the L3+ can is double the hashrate at less cost and less power.: https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201704270330299161GIIoSKl067B

A4: 280MHs @ 1KW = $1600
L3+: 504MHs @ 800W = $1300

edit: Yes, that's for July delivery though...

Yep , but the price is little high
I bought 10 L3+ with delivery after 5th may but my wiretranfer was
little late and I didnt put order id to tittle and bitmain looking for it for almost 2 weeks
I can't understand that how 14500$ can be lost for that time
and only what I can do tha was make new order
but it's 3 month almost from now
it's a lot of time in cryptoworld
