Not sure why there isn't an ETH speculation thread. A lot of people (on Reddit) are saying ETH price will go up in May and that now is a good time to buy ETH to diversify your crypto portfolio.
Some of the reasons that will cause the rise are: new members into EEA, ENS, Metropolis (in June).
Are those people only speculating or will really see a huge spike in ETH?

because nobody is speculating about eth, they are either filling the forum with their spam about the moon and replacing bitcoin FUD or they take some time off when there is dumping time and now is the dumping time for the most part  A lot of people (on Reddit) are saying ETH price will go up in May and that now is a good time to buy ETH to diversify your crypto portfolio.
people say all kinds of crazy things to make more money, they can be positive to hype up and pump the price or negative to spread panic and fill their short positions. and funny part is that market doesn't care about them, they only get newbie victims. Some of the reasons that will cause the rise are: new members into EEA, ENS, Metropolis (in June).

meh, i don't see how any of these can cause a rise, although they can be a good baseline for a pump. but also remember that ETH has recently been pumped and there hasn't been any major correction yet. and in my opinion this means although there is a chance for a rise but there is even a bigger chance for a dump. |

Exactly, ETH has great future because even many ICO's devs are accepting ETH as on of their payment after bitcoin, even in altcoin market ETH has secured its position, sooner are later ETH price will increase definitely. |

Ethereum is of course a great asset to possess, especially as the PoS transition will become closer and closer. You should have some time left though, as I believe it will happen at the end of the year.

Ethereum is a good cryptocurrency coin , and is still profitable at mining . You can get a decent money monthly by mining ethereum . So i think that the price will increase soon

If you do have the money to set up mining rigs for ETH mining then its really a good investment for us people who are interested on this coin.Seeing on the upcoming news ahead do really indicates ETH would really shoots up its price because its being already adopted on some firms which really means it do really have a potential and for now I'm still holding some ETH on my wallet still waiting for the right time to sell. |

Because nobody really gives a fuck about ETH xD It's an old fashion coins. Lot's of people talked about it, few understood what i really was and lots invested fortunes in it even if there was no real reason to do so. Hence the result is a failing coin that will never really rise again whatever you wish for. Unless you manage to find enough gullible people of course ^^ |

Totally agreed. In my opinion, a few years from now ETH may have the same price as bitcoin has today. I'm not really sure about ETH will overcome bitcoin. Some altcoins had better return values than ETH, but the biggest opportunity in real life usage is in ETH. Worth every cent! |

Saw an article on Google news the other day that a millionaire(think they were talking about the Winklevoss twins from Facebook) has 10% of his money invested into Bitcoin and Eth. If a guy that has made tons of money off of investments thinks that Eth is a good investment, it probably is.

Ethereum has a future of its price and the price is going high and the price is up. And expect more tradings in short time. It has also a good investment among investors. Many investors interested someday in Ethereum it has a great and potential. I think also that some of a days it has a good value same as bitcoin but it more risk but it grew fast.

On the way to the moon now? Price is doubled in very short time Its really hard to predict the price of Ethereum, but it looks like its been pumping a little as it seems. One thing about it is that is a good backing specially the dev so its likely that the price can still go up. If this is a bubble, then we should all be worry because we all know that it going to be burst soon. If not, then definitely it wil remained as the 2nd crypto in terms of price next to bitcoin. |

Ether will be on top because its useful. The more value it will have because more people are going to use the tokens like Edgeless. If I have to speculate its price, all I can say is just it will follow btc price. Its just a matter of time too.
