I would like to see another zcash fork, it should have segwit from day 0 and the following distribution model

number of blocks: reward

131071·1: 16384
131071·1: 8192
131071·2: 4096
131071·3: 2048
131071·5: 1024
131071·8: 512
131071·13: 256
131071·21: 128
131071·34: 64
131071·55: 32
131071·89: 16
131071·144: 8
131071·233: 4
131071·377: 2
131071·610: 1
131071·987: 0.5

blocktime: 4 minutes
blocksize: 2MB
anonymity: 100% via ZK-snarks
segwit: from day 0
total supply: 8 589 869 056
premine: 0%

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Segwit is not necessary if you have block time of 4m and block size of 2 mb ...

Without segwit it will only have 5 times the tps bitcoin offers(worse than zcash), will work initially but not long term.

That is justified, it's experimental and no developer yet(i have not time to learn that shit atm).

Actually i think 2MB blocks would be too small even with segwit, i think the bare minimum long term is 4MB.

Visa can handle 56000 ttansactions/second and the avarage is 2000 transactions/second. Paypal handled 115 tps 2014. Bitcoin is currently limited to about 3 tps (7 is theoretical maxiumum).

A reasonable goal is to be able to handle 50 tps and this would require 4MB blocks and segwit, the good news is that we can archive decent onchain scaling without centralization. I do however believe we have to habe scalability from day 0, hardforks later is dangerous and it may be rejected by the miners. Bitcoin has needed higher blocksize and segwit for a long time but nothing has happened yet.
