Hello,
I am currently planning to start a bitcoin project in the next weeks.
The problem: I have absolutely no experience and even no real idea.
Well, you maybe ask now "why do you want to start a project without any idea?".
I have not really no idea.
There are much ideas I have but they mostly need some more experience.

The thing is, that I learned programming over some months and want now start an own thing.
I can program own things but have no experience with APIs for example.
Means: I could accept and make manual payments but not automate it with a processor.

I would like to start with a faucet website.
Since starting programming I wanted to make my own project.
I have not much money to start but I would like to try it anyway.

I want to collect experience over the time.
Maybe in some months I have a good side income.

What are the first steps in a faucet?
Is it recommend to start a faucet or will the costs be much higher than the income?
What experiences did you as owner make over the time?
What should I be careful with?
Can you tell me how to accept automaticly payments?
Or can you show me some tutorials?

I would really like to write with someone who has experience with this
and in best case makes already money with it.
Maybe you can help me.

Thank you for reading!

I suggest you take a look at the countless open source faucet scripts and just inspect their code.
Learn from that and maybe try to improve it.

Lol. How can you start your project in the first place if you have no idea to start with. You need to have idea on what you want to start with. And from there begin to develop your business goals in order for you to succeed.

The thing is, that I learned programming over some months and want now start an own thing.
I can program own things but have no experience with APIs for example.

Then you should hire a professional coder to help you developed your ideas. That's why its important to have an idea on what you are going to start with.

I must say that faucet business is not profitable.

Well how can you start your own business if you don't have money? If you don't have money then it would be difficult for you to start any business because you will be a one man team. You can use the search function in our forum to get a good idea on how to start a faucet business if that is your initially plan. Goodluck dude.

Look at my faucet GAME at http://ethereummining.co.in ... As I implement payouts you will notice that the out flow is a fixed percentage of the fund balances... So, it is self scaling.

Thank you for all your helpful replies! Smiley

I did not mean that I have no idea but as you may understand I have no experience neither good or bad.

I surely have some ideas and some of them are also unique as you recommended Smiley

But how could I do it with the payments?
That would be a great help!
Is there a website which offers a good and simple API for small Bitcoin payments (like 10k satoshi etc)?

Thanks again!

Well the first thing is to look through common users problems, and find a way to solve that problems with your product. That is the first checkpoint when you are trying to create something
About payments, there are a lot of exchangers and payment systems which offers transaction services and open API

Yes, there is a site called faucethub.io that is widely used by faucet owners to process micro payments. They have an API for faucet owners to use that works well. In addition, they have a basic faucet script for you to use to start off.

Self advertisement, but I also have a faucet script for sale if you are looking for one.

Good luck with your faucet!

Thanks for those.
I saw recently epay.info and faucethub.io, what would you recommend?
And also, can I say when the payments should be made?
For example I want manual withdrawal requests of the users but they should automaticly get withdrawn through the API.
Is that possible?
(User claims 1000 Satoshi, min. withdraw amount is 10.000 satoshi. Is that possible?)
Thank you!

I found that faucet don't work.
I'm trying a new idea withe altcoins where you have a chance to win a big prize and a faucet type of earnings.
There is also a referral part to earn coins up to 4 levels deep
The site is at the moment in demo mode but the earnings is real
the link is
altmaze.com/r/AMT
and more info can be found
