My First Rig 249mhs @ 1150watt Wall Review

After many days try to do something, cause the main problem it is choice operation system:

I started with simpleminingOs very good interface but i needed to switch on windows 10 cause as you know on linux you can't setup voltage:

29.8 mhs on linux and 31.1 on windows (i use 1170gpu and 2200 memory i can gain bit more with 2240 (+0.2mhs) but i don't wanna problems with stability) consider also on window -15 watt at wall (for each card), then i saved 120 watt and +2mhs on window.

Now i need to do something to drop temp cause it is around 70° and i have 20° on ambient some card are around 80 (i need to change stock paste with better)

Asus z270a,
nitro+oc 480 4gb (samsung),
i made shit to buy ssd sata, when my mb have 2 m2 (one used to get 8th card).
I use rosewill case but i need to change fan orientation cause i see better cooling.

I need to buy also some hdmi dongle to simulate monitor or not working system, some idea
I need also to build some good system on c# to check system operation easy like simpleminingOS, (i can get some info from claymore port, can be a good start point)


Note: not use last AMD driver with signature check, i know you can fix it to work, then cause you need to use system with UEFI mode then window not will start and crash.

you need to remove hdd bays and mod it to put gpus

What m2 adapter did you use to get the 8th GPU working? Also any tutorials for getting the motherboard to work?

no tutorial i just plug it (motherboard say you can use m2 to get sata device or pcie (4x))

please, can You send a picture from behind, to see te exaust of the gpu's, I am making a custom one myself, yust to make an idea

small update i drop to 7 cards instead 8 cause heat problems with 8 temp it is around +70° with 7 it is around 55-60° (it is just +1cm between cards difference before/after).

This is a server case to use inside server farm, but for my testing system at home i dont' need standard case, i think 3 cm between cards are so good (atm it is 2cm) (then instead server case 40cm will be go with 60cm then you can use 5 fans instead 3), go over it is impossible case cable issue (or you need to use custum power cables) i dont' think you can hit better performance about heat.
