I've noticed most of the signature campaigns in the services section of alt are of upcoming projects or coins, are there any signature campaigns that give coins from the top 20 of marketcap as payouts? And actually surprised to see no Ethereum paying campaigns, I think people would be interested in those as much as bitcoin if not more.

Well as the price increases many people are enticed to try it too. Many were made but few had been successuful. A project that i am currently enrolled in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1874481.0 . It has many prospects and a lot of big investors. this is just one recent project that can bloom in time.

BTC became a benchmark in the cryptocurrencies world. Even if the developers want to pay in altcoins or ETH, most of the users will again want to convert them to BTC and will check for the conversion rates before joining any of these altcoin campaigns.

For me it is irrelevant if one campaign is paid in BTCs or in ALTs all that is matter is that payment rates are acceptable (decent) and campaign has good manager (good manager is promise that payment will be processed on time and correct).

Short answer: No.
The reason is that signature campaigns primarily serve a marketing function. If a coin is already in the top 20, they either don't require additional marketing, or the sort of marketing that will benefit them isn't the sort that targets the denizens of bitcointalk. In other words, if a person is posting or reading here in BTT, they already know about, say, Golem, or Litecoin, or whatevs.

no because those signature also serve as a way to distribute the initial reward, all the 20 coins in coinmarketcap already had their distribution phase, thereby it's pointless for them, and signature for new coins pay quite well would be stupid for the top coins to release coins for free

Those on the top 20 coins will never launch a campaign again, because they are already on the top, only new coins which needs marketing, there are some campaigns that pays ethereum but they are seldom, they mostly pays with their own coins or bitcoin

I do not find any problems converting any new altcoins into ones you wish in the top 20. Some of them actually never had a signature campaign since the very beginning

It will never be impossible (not yet). But you will see it in the future, My guess the dev can try to change the payment into the ethereum. But they're interested in ethereum volatility. As you can see the new coin is easy to generate by the smartcontract platform. And it will not cost your money to advertise your project around this place. Because that's more easiest rather than use ethereum to be a payment for bounty.

There were some worthfull signature campaigns with paying in other cryptos. Just check services section and you can see them in different language sections.

Well each signature campaigns is different to which they do and their ideas in there campaign. Some do pay coins and others pay in BTC it just depends on the campaign, I actually did a campaign before in ConX(ConCoin) they make coins to support prison inmates and help them earn while in prison. They actually payed me in both, BTC and in coins, but in top 20 marketcap i don't think they have campaigns that pay for their altcoins. It is i think interesting if they do, but not with the current top coins in the market. I'm sure in the future it will happen.

They are already in the top 20 marketcap so I don't think they still need more advertisement. So it makes sense for the upcoming project or coins to do some signature campaign to make some exposure into the crypto world and penetrate the market. Maybe in the future there will be Ethereum as payment, but currently bitcoin is the base pay or used as conversion rate for a signature campaign.

They have their own market already and community supporters. Mostly only new coins or those in ICO's are in campaigns. Most payouts are in percentage of their coins and it is exchanged in BTC in exchanges. If its in Ethereum it is still converted to BTC in end.

Top 10 coins as payment method is welcomed, everything else is very tricky because price can vary from time you have started, and you can got dust at the end or make some big profit maybe. Maybe daily payout can fix things, but nobody has time for this.
