Jaxx support

Dash
ETC
REP
ZEC
RSK (or SBTC?) What's the connection?
DAO

How many of those are "real" coins?

Where can I buy DAO or RSK?

Is this https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-REP REP?

DAO does no longer exist. I ended at the same moment that The DAO passed away after a brilliant hacker stole coins, which resulted in the creation Ethereum Classic.

I suspected that. But Jaxx still listed DAO as one of it's coins. It's not even a coin

I prefer whichever one is most popular and secure for the wallet. Jaxx, Electrum, Mist are good options.

Have you tried Agama
It's very confusing.

It seems that all coins need to be in full mode (download the full blockchain). And that's not the kind of wallet I want to have.

I tried to switch to basilisk mode but it can't do that either for most coins.

For all coins we can't switch

They said:

Quote
Code:
[code]"Native Mode: This mode is ONLY available for KOMODO Coin, PAX FIAT Chains, Assetchains, and Geckochains. This mode uses the Komodo Daemon instead of the Iguana Daemon to query blockchain data."
[/code]

However, Komodo support basilisk mode
ZEC, cannot be basilisk mode

On the bottom it says

Quote
Native Mode is the so far mode which will allow you to do Z Transactions, Z Transactions.

I am not even sure if it's grammatically correct.

I find it convinient to just store them in an exchange like bittrex. But it sucks, because you don't get some rewards this way (airdrops,..).  Undecided

According to the subject of the post which wallet should be used for store of coin.
But no body actually hints that which is more preferable wallet.
Can anybody suggest us to be more familiar with that wallet..?.

DAO was the biggest scam of Ethereum based projects. I store my Ether assets in Myetherwallet, others in exchanges because I don't hold coins for a long time. Rep is Augur, pretty solid project tbh but I never invest. I think it already passed cheap stage. I have no interest for Etc and Zec. Never heard of Rsk.

I don't owe those coins you listed but I use Myetherwallet for all my Ether assets and Electrum for my Bitcoins.
I don't trust exchanges so if I hold long term I withdraw to my wallet.

bitcoin: in my cold storage.
altcoins: on an exchange and in open orders.

there is no other way. i have tried it and it doesn't work. if i want to download their official wallets then i have to free up a lot of space on my HDD and i can not do that and not to mention all the network they are going to waste.
and all these other wallets like Jaxx are not to my liking.
and besides i want to sell these altcoins anyways so there is no point for me to withdraw and deposit them back in a couple of days again. and that is the risk i am willing to take working with exchanges.

Yeah. It is a good thing that coinbase add LTC to their wallet since they are using already an exchange wallet. I'm looking for more ETH based coin to add on coinbase so that I will not use MEW anymore. I want mobile wallet for all my coins.
