DRUGS are just a vehicle for people's distress. The real problem with pinoy land is the rampant poverty which fuels the corruption and drug taking. Based on my opinion, corruption will never be eradicated, Corruption will always exist in any country. Human nature will emerge when they are tempted by strong temptations, and money is the most severe temptation for humans. The nature of greed and dissatisfaction will often arise when humans are faced with temptation, self-control is necessary.

It seems to me that corruption is the main problem of mankind, and not of individual countries. To some extent this problem exists everywhere. But it is impossible to eradicate it, because corrupt officials themselves and they do not find themselves.

No country is corruption free, but you can always eliminate the corrupted officials/law enforcement and get a much less corrupted country.

Philippines need someone who is not afraid to take concrete steps such as Duterte. In Western nations, you can just educate the people and expect them to refrain from drugs and crime. It doesn't work like that in the developing nations.
