I'm trying to maximize performance + longevity for my card. I'm using the easy boost utility, because yes, I will destroy the thing the minute I start playing around with voltages (no overclocking experience). Right now here at the current results for my setup.

GPU: 1175
Memory: 1250
Temperature: 73
Fan speed: 95

Is this safe? Usually at stock the temperature is 69-71, and the fan is at 90%.

It's probably fine. Seems to me cards are built to fucking last. Used to have my last card mining at 92C, it's idle temp was like 70C. Lasted 2 years before I sold it on ebay. I still dream about her, wonder if she's still alive..

73C° seems safe for me, my HD5770 at full charge is at 80-85C° and my HD4850 can go up to 110-115C° (it's mono slot) but only 90-95°C when mining.

The problem is your fan because above 85% of it's full speed, it's durability might significantly shorten.

So it should be better to reduce the fan speed to 85% and see the new temperature.

Well looks really Nice! For safety purposes of temp. I run my mining rig (2x Radeon 7950) under the following conditions:

- GPU: 1050 MHz.
- Memory: 1250 MHz.
- Fans: 60%

Temperatures range is between 69-73 degrees Celcius.

As a test I increased the GPU to 1200, and decreased the fan to 70%. The resulting temperature was 77 (before I changed everything I think it was around 75). I now have the fan at 80%, and the temperature has lowered to 75.  Basically, for increased longevity (I would like the leave the GPU overclocked by 20%), would it be better to leave the fan at 70% or 80%? I'm thinking 70% because an extra 3.6F shouldn't be that major, should it?
