I know a decent amount about pc components and have done some research on my parts but since I have never put a mining rig together  I thought I would get second opinions here. I plan on getting some extra pci raisers since I've been reading that they break pretty often. Is there anything I'm missing or anything in my build that is incompatible?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Did you every get the rig up and mining?

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

Completely normal configuration. GTX 1070 graphics cards are a good choice between the expensive 1080 and the fairly slow 1060.
But I would choose about 1500 watts for it

Nice job.
I bought a "new old stock" TB85 with the G1820 processor on Ebay for $60. I was just reading about bios settings and issues when I saw your post.
Good to hear it works for you.

I've got the board working and I hope to have it online tonight. Bought a couple RTX 2060 to test them out.
Thanks again.

Seems you have a plan!! I agree that the 1070's are a good choice, if I was setting up a rig at this moment I think those would be my choice...
Have you checked thourougly the power consumption? I would feel better with a 1500W PSU... always better to have a bit more than risking a bit less...Smiley
get a pack of extra risers and don't forget these need to be powered risers...
Good luck and don't forget to send word about how everything is going...
cheers

This is a beautiful configuration and no doubt the 1070s is the in thing these days.
My friend uses the above configuration and it doesn't break as you were meant to believe.
So go ahead and try your hands on this.
We await your feedback from using it.
