LBRY might disrupt all current forms of digital file distribution, and might become the universal base layer protocol for how all digital files are shared between viewers and publishers on the internet - For free, or for money.

Oh, so it's a wallet that also allow people to upload vids and photos? Cool. We really need an alternative to giants like Google. I'm hoping that there would be a lot of content creators like in Youtube though. Does it allow donating to creators? I suppose that would be a good way for creators to earn money without lbry having to rely on adds and also cuts of middlemen like Patreon.

Would still like this to have an app that can play in the background so it can be used as a music player on mobiles. I wouldn't want to pay for Youtube Red. Google went hard on apps that allow that functionality, turns out the reason why is that they wanted to make money out of it. Uggh..

Looks cool to me. Are the tokens convertible to bitcoins? This could really change things. Maybe soon I'll be watching vids here rather than on Youtube. There probably wouldn't be annoying ads here.

I like this protocol and intend to study it in depth.
