They do. Amazon don't accept Bitcoin. You have to buy a gift card with it and use it on there or use services like purse.io which sort it out for you (and give you discounts on their products for paying with Bitcoin).

I know of three places (online stores, I mean) which accept Bitcoin: Steam, Microsoft, and Dell. I have bought a lot of games from Steam using Bitcoin, Also bought Windows 10 license from Microsoft with Bitcoins (Microsoft has a big share in blockchain as well), but Dell has terminated Bitcoin payment method for some reasons I don't know of.

I know of Amazon and Newegg already.
i don't know what the other one is but i know that Amazon is still not accepting bitcoin payment. please provide links if they do, i would love to go there and start a spending frenzy. and also remember buying Amazon gift cards with bitcoin from someone else and spending that in Amazon doesn't count. but Dell has terminated Bitcoin payment method for some reasons I don't know of.
usually when some service removes a payment option it has two main reasons: lack of customer interest and also to limit the number of options to a small number (it is not good to have a lot of options, best is 3 to 5).

I do not know of any formal announcement that were made that Dell do not accept Bitcoin anymore? http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/uscorp1/campaigns/bitcoin-marketing?c=us&l=en&s=corp -- If you pay through a Coinbase account, your purchase will be accepted. { The reason for this --> KYC/AML regulated }

https://openbazaar.org/ - this is decentralized marketplace that accept bitcoin people usually sell things here, there are not many listings like there are on amazon and ebay. Also I love this option : https://www.namecheap.com/ - you can buy hosting as well as domain names, they are real deal

Above mentioned sites are obviously there, here are some few more
In the gaming world: g2a.com steam
VPN: expressvpn nordvpn
The above merchants might not be useful for everybody, but they are best IMO in their fields. And the acceptance of Bitcoin as payment has helped many people like me.

There's a website called Purse.io where you use your amazon wish list to buy anything on Amazon with BitCoin, and the best part is you get 15% off the things you buy because you use BitCoin, so yeah, I would use this.

Microsoft also used to accept BTC.
Microsoft still accepts bitcoin in the present day. They do have some restrictions: You can only use Bitcoin to add money to your Microsoft account and then purchase digital goods at select Microsoft online stores. You can’t use Bitcoin to purchase Microsoft products and services directly at this time.
But other than that, they are still actively accepting bitcoin. In addition to the sites already mentioned, Namecheap is a domain registrar accepts bitcoins. In addition, you can obtain most gift cards with bitcoins through gyft or some other site, and use those to buy the services you need.

A lot of things that you're able to buy though with some companies that don't right out accept Bitcoin such as Steam, Dell, Overstock, and so on you're going to have to go through leaps and bounds to ensure that you're able to buy something with Bitcoin.
Like, lets just say you wanted to buy something on Amazon for $20 with Bitcoin, you'd have to go to a place like Gifty (Or any online gift card buying place which ACCEPTS BITCOIN) buy the variants to be able to get a $20 card then activate it on Amazon.
I've never been a fan of doing something like this as it does scare me if the card was fraudulently created and would lead to my family account being suspended, but I guess there is not many alternatives at all.

Funniest above all is that bitcoin is "Internet money" and in order to pay with it online you need Gifty or some card/ virtual card providers in order to be able to buy with bitcoins, but as time passes I am sure that situation will improve. Also to add - you can buy tickets for some airlines such as https://www.cheapair.com/ and https://www.airbaltic.com

My main Bitcoin expenditure used to be on Cex which is a second hand electronics chain, but they've now stopped accepting Bitcoin. Now all I do is gift cards through giftoff.com and I hope they stick with it or I'm screwed.
Giving up on BTC is likely to be a trend that'll accelerate. Bitcoin has pretty much failed for retail. Maybe it'll try again in the future.

i don't know what overstock is but Steam and Dell are accepting bitcoin directly and there are no leaps and bounds. you just purchase whatever and pay with bitcoin the same way you pay with your credit card. and as for your gift card conundrum you can use a trusted service that have been around a long time such as https://www.gyft.com/ so you don't have to worry about the gift card being fraudulently acquired.

If you have any experience of using bitcoin with an popular online stores similar to what I mention above, Please share your post here with us thanks. Fiverr was accepting bitcoins ,but they removed that payment option due to small customer interest. And the customers were not interested in using bitcoins because there wasn`t any refund policy. I`m pretty sure that both Amazon and Newegg don`t accept btc.
