Team cooperation and synergy was a big problem in the team. Not paying for work is one thing.

From the very beginning the whole project was at risk because of bad management of people, tasks in project and holding work on purpose by Sergey Ponomarev, who wanted the whole project for himself.

At some point I was included in telegram channel SONM CORE-developers, without particular reason as in this project I should be responsible for marketing, biz dev and design concept in general, not technical details.
It appeared that Ponomarev is not obligated to do smart contract development because of typo in his agreement.

His original responsibilities in agreement
were whole sonm platform plus www and graphic design … because of typo changing especially blockchain to except blockchain …
His email about refusing to make Ethereum development which everybody in team, including him, were perfectly aware that this suppose to be his duty and it was main reason why he is participating.

Even that wasn't the worst thing, after few weeks of disputes, he created a smart contract which was not so good in quality as we would expect from someone who is describing himself on sonm.io website as experienced smart contract developer. Here is a crosscheck reference of Ponomarev code done by junior Ethereum developer Max Taldykin.

http://telegra.ph/Review-of-the-SONM-presale-contract-02-04
and that was just beginning... of rocky road.

After I saw code and it’s reference by Max sent to Andrew, and as my PR and image was used in whitepaper to bust credibility to this code, I asked to be described differently and publicly stated that I am not responsible for core development of sonm project, as I am part of marketing sale team not core dev team of sonm architecture.

After few days, the dispute end-up that Max has created new smart contract and I do additional testing of it, in the meantime, as we already had big delays, mostly because of Ponomarev denies of action on smart contract development and fuss which arises around that.

CEO Andrew ask me to edit post so it would look better.

The fights inside team for domination in project between Andrew and Ponomarev were everyday more and more clear. Even if whole team was cooperating in March, after few potential investment declarations, money on table triggered greed in young inexperienced in development part of team.

What will be quality of the sonm.io code as Panomarew will be unable to refuse to work as CEO to make imaginary designs and having no intention of giving up his second part time job as on CTO position to much better developers in his team ?

Thanks for the heads up on this. I think ICOs should continue as a way of fund raising, but investors should always do their DD on 1. the coins purpose/objectives and 2. the team. Coin and contract development is a business like any other with operational challenges. Inexperienced teams can wreak havoc in any start up.

I know there is infighting within the team, if this is not managed well Sonm team may suffer what Synereo team suffered. The team have enough fund to work with presently since their pre-sale is very successful

Barnaba, you gotta stop posting this bullshit, as you are not a SONM team member for more than 2 months.

Just to make things clear:

1. Barnaba's message (04 feb 2017) about leaving SONM team (he has edited the message, but it's still in the quote in the reply):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777667.msg17733030#msg17733030

Just to make things clear - he hasn't quit the SONM team, he was kicked because of incompetence and lack of skills\commitments.

2. One of the few examples of Barnaba's work (and his skills):

3. Official press releases from the SONM team and Andrew Voronkov, one of the SONM founders who has hired Barnaba:

Barnaba, you are not a SONM team member, you can't provide any decent results and commitments, and you are trying to damage the SONM project reputation.
SONM team will announce an official press release about your fraud attempts in 1-2 days.

Stay tuned.
