How to use the poclbm GUI Miner Mac .app application?

I've got a fair bit of power under my case and just read this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166347.0 which has interested me in using the app for mining. Ive got a customac though, would never pay for a mac lol

However I have no clue where to start! Pool ? User ? Password ?

Do they mean to create a user and password, or use an existing?

To mine using a pool, you need to first register an account on a pool site.

I use slush's.  The site you choose will determine the hostname, port, username, and password.  You can then run the software with those values to begin mining.

You should know there is a minimum withdraw amount from most (all???) pools.  Because of this, it is likely you will need to mine for a long time with the current difficulty to withdraw any profits.
