How do people with loads of different altcoins store them in an efficient manner

Say for instance you have some Pivx, Ubiq, ... I would like to see how some of you handle this stuff. I find it dumb to keep all of it on an exchange...

Like 10-20 coins. How to store them efficiently.. download all them wallets?

Personally, I download blockchains and wallets for the few coins I'm holding long term. I would imagine, though, that a high percentage of people just keep everything in Poloniex.

I see no better way than to download the wallets in their computer but if you keep trading all these coins, you can either just put them on exchange until you stop trading. Or simply just convert them all to BTC once again. People are putting their coins in the exchanges though which is risky, I myself is setting it there for months and once i see its price is considerable enough to keep, I then will send to a desktop client.

even though there are many good ways, i imagine a large % of people use Polionex ( i dont )

most people whom you see are traders and they all care about an altcoin for a short period of time. nobody is "storing" an altcoin unless they are bag holders that missed the pump to sell their coins and now are in a dump.

so they all keep their coins on exchanges and sell it as soon as possible. that may take a couple of days to a week max. and they withdraw bitcoin to their cold storages.
