.......I might've screwed up big time.

Development on this coin was progressing across three PCs, each with a separate wallet.

I can't get into the wallet I had the recovered premine sent to.

I didn't want to keep the truth from you guys, who have supported me throughout all this, and I don't want to fuck anyone over as a result, so making it public now (who knows, I might actually recover the passphrase).

I guess we have three options:

1.) continue normally, sans premine (but that would screw over those who contributed and those whom deserve a bounty)

2.) we could restart the coin and do a swap, 1:1 (those who I owe a bounty to would receive double, for the troubles)

3.) kill the coin (and screw over everyone)

I know this is going to hurt my reputation, but there's really nothing else I can do at this point besides keep looking for that passphrase.  I have the wallet.dat - but the password I thought I created a few hours earlier doesnt work.

Looking for all your opinions on where we should go with this - please save the insults for after we agree on a solution

I think you should chose option 2. Restart the coin and do a one to one swap.

In my opinion 1-st option is a best option, 20m not so big amount from total supply so need to go on this chain and this ticker, you can thank those who deserve it later when coin will hit better exchanges. I think so.

I like option 1 if you can't recover the wallet. Every other option is unstable.

Continue development and do a swap for a token on a fancy chain like ETH or UBQ, and give some to the people you owe bounties to.

If the community moves ahead with option 1, we can set up a donation address (declared and managed by the dev) with an agreed-upon % of the mining on our pool.

that address can also receive community donations to support the dev efforts moving forward.

Not a bad idea, it is nice that a pool wants to help.

@OBAViJEST Consider the token idea I gave. Track whoever you may owe a bounty too, give this some time, and if they are down then just swap for some fancy token on ETH or UBIQ or any other hyped up chain.

From those tokens, you can pay out bounties by using some extra ones. A bit more effort, but worth it. A 1:1 swap for a regular chain is a bit pointless.
