Selling LTC/XRP in INDIA

Hi,

I have invested in some alternate coins (like Litecoins/Ripple) through some international exchanges and would like to know what is the prospect of trading those in India. I have checked that in all the  major exchanges in India they deal only in BTC and not in anything else. So can somebody help me to get any info whether any reliable exchange is available in India where i can transfer my LTC/XRP and sell them to make money in INR ?
if there is nothing like that then can I sell my LTC/XRP in BTC in any international exchanges and send that to India so that I can trade that ? Will I be violating any rule here ?

You can trade XRP on https://btcxindia.com/ They have recently removed BTC and now accepting XRP trades. Not sure about LTC. However, you can trade some other alt coins like ETH for INR on BTCXINDIA's sister site ETHXIndia.com.

XRP and LTC don't have significant demand in India. So you might end up selling in deficit. Your best bet will be exchanging your coins at poloniex for bitcoins and then selling btc at premium on Indian exchanges.

First of all thanks for your reply.
I have heard that BTCXIndia is closing down since one of it's banking partner has removed there support. So I am a bit skeptical about using that. Also is it possible to transfer LTC/XRP in any available wallet in India based exchange ?

There are no India based exchanges that provide LTC & XRP wallets that I know of. However they do provide directly converting your alt coins to bitcoins. Unocoin is one such exchange, you would still sell them in deficit if you aren't willing to the poloniex way.
