It already got confirmed because I submitted it to a "transaction acceleration service" called ViaBTC. Before I submitted it to ViaBTC, it had been unconfirmed for about 18 hours. And if I didn't submit it to ViaBTC, it would probably still be unconfirmed till now.

May I know why I received a "Double Spend" transaction?

I know the low fee might be a factor that causes the delay of the confirmation. But there is another thing that raised my concern: the red label which says "Double Spend!" How can "Double Spend!" affect a transaction? From the info I found on the internet, it is not a good sign.

The Post from newIndia is said simply like this. the Exchange sends the transaction which is showing in bitcoin qt, not confirmed yet - and thoose coins are sended to you as double spend until the first tx gets confirmed and the blockchain knows the correct truth.

I don't understand what you mean. But anyway, a transaction should not be made as a double spend because that can cause the receiver to lose money.

And the reason I wanted to reduce the number of my own transaction is: the more transaction I receive, the higher fee I will have to pay in the future when I want to spend those incomes.

I wanted to save money by reducing the number of my own transaction, not by asking you to use a low fee (and I didn't ask you to do so). As a sender, you are supposed to use a reasonable fee, not a low fee.
