There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

To everyone being a smartass:

I posted it because it was new to me, and I thought it was interesting. And I remember seeing a thread a while ago asking what Mt Gox had done for the 2 or so years since they registered the domain and before turned the site into a bitcoin exchange.

As if we didn't already know.

Back on topic.

Did you know you can lock your own thread, but if the topic is good enough, another user will come along and start another thread with the same title.

No offense taken, I do the same thing. Of course I know about locking threads...but I never do unless its something in the marketplace thats sold. What do you mean about ""stealing" topics?

Since everybody else already knows, I'll explain it to you real slow.

Stealing = Starting another topic with the same exact title. Was just trying to be funny then, as well as now, although I didn't use the word stealing. Did you steal it from someplace else? Dyin' to know.  Grin
