Aren't we (or let's say the BitcoinTalk experts) guessing (or hoping?) that it won't take 20 years for it and its more realistic it reaches that amount in like 5 years or am I just talking crap with this statement?

I guess I'll Google up some the term 'wars'. If the world has gone to absolute devastation, the term war will probably result in the most direct answer to the IF and if so the WHY.

There are many things that needs to be considered here. Maybe there will not be Google in the future, maybe there will be better way of finding things online, or maybe internet will not exist . But lets guess that Google will exist, the first thing i would look for, hmm that is to difficult question. Maybe i would google what has happened with my country in time and after that i lived in. Or if there is way to go back, maybe i would check out economics in time that i live, and come back to become rich. There are endless possibilities .
