it's pretty clear that the money would move to altcoin, you see the  last dump caused a spike in all the big alt like etheruem and dash, this time won't be different

besides i don't think the value will ever go below 1/4($300-350) of what it is know, because it would be under the electricity cost of the miners, miners will pump the coin long before it happen
I am sorry but I disagree a bit. Ethereum started growing big time in price at the beginning of March. Bitcoin was already above $1k which was more than okay for it at that time. 25-th of March - bitcoin falls to $900. Nevertheless, ethereum was already pumping at that time for a few weeks. The next big change in price of ethereum was at the end of April (25-30th of April). At that time bitcoin was also experiencing a major pump.
To sum up, no strict correlation here.

This week BTC dominance move below 50% of the marketcap for the first time thanks to Ripple pump, I believe 99% of these Altcoins will die first before BTC.

HaH nice prediction mate. Yeah Ripple has been pump and will soon burst.  And we don't blame investors going back to btc again. We knew that its just a matter of time before the ripple bubble will end and they will look for another coin to pump again. That is the life cycle of this alt coins, and soon they will be dead 99% of the time. And yes, they will die before btc.

If BTC gets dumped bellow 500$ I think all alts will experience some kind of growth. Maybe the top ones more than the others but most likely everything in the top 50 will be in the green for at least a week. Safe to say this will never happen however. Aside from polo scamming out and dumping all BTC they stole from their users on other exchanges.

I think there will be a coin cap more than the market value of bitcoin, so this is impossible.

We're not far away from this. Actually it's happening.
It's a matter of one week or two maybe.

Why do you think BTC will get dumped?

What will happen to all the altcoin if Bitcoin experiences a big dump? For example lets say BTC price goes under $500 or even $200, how it will affect the prices of altcoin? Will one or two top crypto currencies at marketcap like Ethereum, Litecoin or Dash will take over and become the number one crypto currency and have higher value than bitcoin? Or do all the altcoin also fall with bitcoin?

For bitcoin to lose that much value something really bad needs to happen so I think all other other crypto are going to suffer as well at least that is what I think.

That is right. The bitcoin price will not drop a lot unless a big bug is found.

Most of these Altcoins are doing well because Bitcoin is healthy and all of them will love to be in BTC position, the daily trading volume of BTC for some days now is over $1 billion, do you think any Altcoins can command this huge liquidity.

That seems to be the case I've found as well. If anything, there's a stronger correlation in alts pricing up in tandem with BTC - which only makes sense since alts are traded chiefly with BTC.

I think it is impossible for BTC to go under $500 or $200, but if ever it'll reach that amount probably some of the altcoins would suffer; some would go up and some would go down. It actually depends, because these Altcoins also depends on the price value of Bitcoin.

It depend on how this dump is served. In case of any disaster this can be very unpleasant for all coins. In case of soft dump 10 to 30% of BTC value nothing will happen, we all are accustomed to this variations. BTC slowly loosing it's connection with alts..This is actually good for all.

That doesn't even matter now. Bitcoin is now known wotldwide and after this wannacry attack it has gain more popularity so it is obvious a price fall wouldn't occur even if something like that happens people will quickly start buying which is again lead a increase in price. And it is obvious no one is going left this low price opportunity

I dont think BTC will ever get dump. Not now or in the near future. There are downs but it will definitely rebound and downs are just a part of the market. So being dumped is still far from happening.

This is not true, this whole world is built on manipulations and is corrupted to the core. In such environment you can expect everything, do not get too accustomed to this win win situation.  Or a lest stop dreaming about better world without fight for it. One good news from mainstream medias can be used for major crash, this can decimate altcoins.

Sorry your prediction was wrong. BTC was dumped so hard these days. But I believe it will go up again soon.

Bitcoin is currently serving as gold standard for others coins. If it fill below $500 then I expect other altcoins such as ripple, litecoin and eth to fell along side because bitcoin is the major reasons why there are being trade. Most of altcoins has there escrow in bitcoin and if it reduces in value it affects others coins.

Generally what we have seen in the past is that when bitcoin gets dumped all the altcoins gets dumped as well, and the price actually decreases more than bitcoin. If you were looking at charts when this correction happened a day ago then you would have found that bitcoin dominance increased from 45% to 51% in very very little time, meaning that most of altcoins got dumped hard.

Actually ripple has a very negative correlation with ripple. Ethereum though usually heads the way bitcoin goes.
