@megatilt, is there any way to withdraw and sell some tilt from my pokeroom account?

i can isssue bitTILT for it in the Evolution exchange and try to sell it there if you like.

BitTilt is ok, but I was wondering if you can give me evolution instead

you can settle bitTILT and get evolution at the feed price. i haven't check how much is it right now. but anyone holding bitTILT can always settle the asset for the core evolution tokens.

Do I need a wallet or something to recieve bittilt? I only have evo account

yes, you can check the evo thread for instructions

I couldnt find anything to help,it doesnt say anything about tilt wallet its only about evl, and I do have evolution account

Delegate Node
Source: https://github.com/megatilt/evolution-core
Windows x64 Binaries: https://github.com/megatilt/evolution-core/releases

GUI Client
Source: https://github.com/megatilt/evolution-ui
Windows Binaries: https://github.com/megatilt/evolution-ui/releases

How to run the node
Just run delegate_node.exe twice. The first time it runs, it will initialize the database.
The second time it will sync to the blockchain.

How to run the wallet
With the node running, just run your installed client named Evolution.

You have to extract the node https://github.com/megatilt/evolution-core/releases to a folder and run delegate_node.exe twice.
The first time is to initialize the database. The second one is to sync the network. Ctrl+c stops the delegate node.

Then install and run the wallet while the delegate node is running.

I'm playing on megatilt since week 2, and just heard about this wild west room. What's my play? Is Tilt moving to wild west? If so, is there any way to make use of my current tilt balance??

It's independent from each other. Tilt has strict rules.
Wild West is liberal. The chips have bitcoin equivalent.

I believe in currencies who create value. I think that a currency is worthless unless it creates value in the long run.

I just logged in for a quick game and the room was empty  Shocked

For the first time I saw what happens when the hourly tournament has only one person in. It gets cancelled!

I think interest in tilt is starting to fade.  Dev has done a great job keeping it together to this point, but instead of focusing on one project he's made other side projects that distract others from tilt.

What is everyone's thought on distributing the remaining coins based on player's balance on Megatilt.club?

Perhaps Tilt would be better off as a blockchain and not a gaming token?

I don't think the problem is the many projects but a few critical choices made about this specific one.

Poker is fun, but cannot be played without a token that is perceived to have value (otherwise it's like playing with beans like children)

Wildwestpoker chips are backed by btc, which makes that game more interesting. It seems all the players still active have migrated there.

Tilt tokens sadly are considered valueless and that's entirely because of the system chosen.

Apparently it is very important to the dev to promote evolution or a platform like it, as a result he wants to make tilt dependent on that.

But players (me included) find that platform pointless until now and way too complex to use just for tilt. Meanwhile, there is nothing there to anchor a value on any of the tokens offered, so everyone is reluctant to make any trade.
The fact that the trades have to be made with derivatives makes it even worse, as does the fact that every deposti/withdrawal has to be manually approved by the dev. It's simply not a good system for the purpose.

Tilt could easily have been successful as a simple ethereum token. Not even a standalone blockchain. But it seems we'll never know  Sad

Perhaps if the EVL token was listed on a exchange, as bitshares is,  there would be more interest in tilt.

I believe this would centralize the coin further. There are a lot of things that give a coin value and one of these is proper disbursement, as I see it there would only be a handful of users that would own the majority.

I agree that when a developer takes on too many projects the first ones tend to be left for dead. (Proof of developer taking on too many projects)

My only issue with the current distribution model is the time and effort involved to play on the site.  We are the hashing power for the coin distribution and just like any coin with too little hash it ends up dead  Cheesy

i suggest you start playing in wildwest if have not yet done already.
and create your capricorn exchange account. http://capricorn.technology
the poker room is here: https://wildwestpoker.club/
monitor updates here: https://www.facebook.com/wildwestpokerclub/
and join the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/wildwestpokerclub

i'm trying my best to merge the two sites and unify everything. just making sure i'm doing it as fair as i can for everyone.
also, put your capricorn blockchain account in the real name field of your wildwest poker account.

also the chips there have bitcoin value. you can withdraw 1,000 chips for 0.01 btc.
and your rake everyday starting sunday will earn you capricorn tokens (xcc).

this is all done in memory of cointron the bitter one

A bit weird to move to another website to play poker. But since you can withdraw chips for btc it's a good idea.

why is it weird? since there are less players in MegaTilt, it's better they move to join Wild West. And yes at least the chips have bitcoin value.
Also, the chips that go to the rake and those chips cashed out by players will be sold in the exchange and players with XCC tokens have a chance to buy it back.
So the main source of chips are the freerolls. So the chips will be very scarce.
So it's possible that the value of the chips will be higher.
