I want to mine on my vps. The OS is Windows Server 2008.
It has 14gb ram with 8 cores. I tried installing the miner for litecoin but failed so far. How many litecoins I can possibly mine per day with my vps?

depends on the processor. But a 8-core processor gives  average 50kh / s. it's 0.11ltc/day now.

try to download and install APP AMD SDK 2.8 http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/heterogeneous-computing/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/downloads/
Then test any miner ( I think after that mining will work)
