My 1700 does 530 h/s with 8 threads.

That's a 65w CPU, mind that.

Terrible. I got 200 H/s with a Xeon E5645 Westmere EP (2.4 ghz).

But then again, Nicehash is cancer...

Even modern CPUs are not very suitable for mining. Yes, you can mine on them, but they have too little processing power. Video cards and specialized devices are more suitable for mining.

That would mine on a CPU processors need to have a large number of them or the most productive samples.

In the end of 2013 y, newborn on crypto I was researching btc ($800) mining info and everybody in every fuc*&% forum told me that no longer be profitable w/ a antminer in that time that would make done 0,98 btc a day. The antminer investment would have about $7/8k

How many btc I would have done?

I am mining biblepay with my cpu.

biblepay is doing good. s biblepay is cpu only coin with new algorithm.

Biblepay is still good for mining it'seems,  and it is noted at c-cex (rare cpu only coin)
And it makes you feel good because it supports poor orphans  (kids)

Probably woud never mined a cristian coin with a name like biblepay
but the Dev is actually really doing his best and the support for the orphans is a really nice touch.
Just check it out ;-)

for biblepay you can mining with any old shit cores=  1,2,4 cores is best choice ... no need newest xeons

I used to mine sumo but i switched to dero after they published the future code. As everyone seems to love and believe developer.

I think Ryzen's CPU (like 1700) can be effective in mining, but on other CPU - it can be uneffective, better buy GPU.
