Our body is designed for 200-300 years of life. Only it is necessary to lead a correct way of life.
No. I have read in a few scientific journals that the maximum possible theoretical lifespan for humans is around 130 years. And in this particular case, I think that some one has rigged the census records. I don't think that this guy was 146 when he passed away. Good point. Last year oldest person passing away was bed-ridden french woman. She was close to 125, I think. Not even year later we have a person, whose relatives claim he was 146... guys, I mean come on not to rip on the dude, I am sure he lived his life the best he could and had his fair share of stories to tell. But lets not throw fact out of the window just for the sake of story. That is science but God still rules this world and he alone can give grace to men. Come to thing of it in this way, is it difficult for God to by pass science and performance his role as God of miracles and favour. I am happy to hear the story of this man that live 146 years in fact it is a great grace.

Of course, whether there is a healthy body healthy mind healthy thoughts then this is quite another matter. The person at this age is very old.

On the contrary, in this way, God punishes a person so that he suffers so much in poverty and illness for so many years.

Indonesia, on the island of Java at the age of 146 years died, a man named Sodimico, who was the oldest inhabitant of the Earth. Imagine what opportunities do our body! Who will live longer?
Curiously, people who live in far reaches of the developed world are living longer lives than the much civilized majority. The environment you live in would and the things you put inside your body would be the main reason why these people live waaay longer and will live longer than most of us.

Civilized society causes a lot of stress and people move away from nature. There it seems to me that people are more relaxed about life and interact more with nature.

They keep talking we are living in modern times. But we still grow old and die like animals. I hope scientist would soon discover how to control aging. I envision a future when humans never grow old that could live for many years as he like never fearing of going old and dying.
If you look back at our history people lived for a very long years much more than the oldest man alive today. The difference between our lives today and theirs is the kind of environment that we live in. We are living in a world were pollution and toxic food, water and air surrounds us. If we can go back to the ancient way of living then we can be alive for hundreds of years.

Worldwide there are problems with filling the pension Fund. This is just a consequence of the fact that life expectancy is constantly increasing. Thanks to our medicine. She won the battle for our lives from the environment.

Modern medical care has made the difference, and now the life expectancy in the developed nations is around 80 years.

Nowadays, the life span of a human being is ranging 75 to 120 years. this is not the time of adam and eve who can lived 800 to 900 years old. So the only things for us to have longevity is to eat natural food, such as fruits and vegetables. or we can take food supplement or any herbal products.

The average life expectancy in the stone age was 19 years. In the 18th century, the average life expectancy was 35-40 years already.

He was from the island of Java. With the exception of the major cities such as Djakarta, Java is a very clean and pristine region. In the mountains, you will hardly find any pollution. This may be the secret behind his longevity.
So was the entire planet until a few hundred years ago. Assuming you were settled in a relatively safe community why aren't the history books heaving with multiple hundred year old people and where did it start to go so wrong again?
