Just as he said, you can earn more from lending bitcoins through forum members and the most common rate is 10% interest for a week or maybe less depending on the trustworthiness of him since you know that he surely will pay. Just remember to ask a collateral but due to your low rank, the collateral should be held by a third party escrow until you make a good reputation or a high rank.

There are a lot of ways of to make some income with your btc such as investments, trading, gambling, buy and sell, etc,. But I highly recommend that you do Trading if you have almost 0.5-1Btc or higher because it would be easy to you to earn with that amount.

When I checked last time I did see there were many people offered bitcoins for margin trading but there were no enough traders to utilize those offers. So, those earnings will not be guaranteed for all the investors.

Well if you are patient and fine with those rates then why not? But I think that you should be checking rates before you try lending on these sites as there are many more websites which have better rates. Also if you would like to earn more income with the btc you already have then you can do various things including: Gambling, Playing on online btc casinos etc., Trading, Investing : In assets or hyip/ponzi sites (not recommended unless trusted website). You could also use cloud mining sites or even buy your own miners with the btc you already have although this is not as profitable as it was 2/3 years ago. Good luck with your lending etc.

Trading can be much more profitable than lending..

But the main fact is right time entry to the market.

As you have entered the ETH market in the right time, so you have big profit.

If op want to do lending then I can suggest to divide the capital in two parts, 1 part for polo and the other part for lending section in this forum.
Create a thread and offer your loan service.. But just keep your eyes open for scammers. If needed then borrow a eye for yourself also..

Lending money to individual users possess a much larger risk than gambling as you never know whether you will be getting your coins back,trading is another form and the risk involved are minimal if you are entering in a bull market and almost everyone is having a good time entering the coins during the bull run and so is the reason everyone is reaping good profits.

This is partially true.

If you lend to people and get a valid collateral (e.g. coins or something with a real value), then yes. Lending section will bring you more. At the cost of more time and more troubles.

If you lend to people and get account as collateral, then thing could get ugly. Like collateral account being red tagged on loan default.

Poloniex lending is one very good option and much more secure in my eyes.

Well, to be honest I have always thought that starting loaning service (for example, at bitcointalk.org) is a really good idea, which may bring nice gains: and it doesnt require a vast amount of funds.

Another thing possible to do which also may give decent returns and is loan-related thing, is just to use such websites as poloniex for that purpose, they offer a really good rates, plus you are pretty much risk free. They cover you up and there is no point in being afraid of losing the money borrowed to the leverage trading.

I´m a fan of margin lending. For me was a good way to begin trading. The i spent looking at the exchanges where i had BTC on lending orders was a time i spent learning how the exchange worked. So even the profit is low compared to other forms of cryptocurrency earnings, it is pretty good compared to traditional banks, namely in europe with near zero rates. So IMHO the rates are decent and its a good way to learn being in the exchange.

Such a good idea if you have a large capital to invest for lending purposes in poloniex.. you can gain a good amount of interest daily.
Like other said you can also try to lend your money in lending section many people are asking for loan in that section where they can borrow bitcoins with collateral like bitcointalk account or altcoin as their collateral..

I think lending is a good way to earn, and lending in exchange give a better and secure investment, rather than lending in this forum, however the rate interest in this forum is better but it contain more risk, I often see people can't pay the money and lost its collateral (usually an account) and the person need to sell it on auction

The reason lending rates at Poloniex is actually low is because it offers much security for your coins. Once a deal is reached, everything becomes automated, you need not know who is borrowing your coins or ask for some collateral that might become end up an issue, the system simply secures your coins and promptly pay back without fail. The only way you can lose lending this way is only if Poloniex is hacked or becomes insolvent. If you ask me slow and steady most often wins the race.

Lending is one of the best option to invest on bitcoins but this thread is not suitable for this section and it has been move to lending section.
btcjam site best option than polenix and I applied one time loan around 8 bitcoin. Once they verify the proper government documents only. they have accepted for loan. its so secured as well.

Rather than just hearing thoughts here by others, why not try the actual service and you might get your own answer from your own question? Since I don't see any harmful effects from doing loan at Poloniex, you can give it a shot and see how it will goes.

And after having some experience there, then try the actual lending activity here in the community. In that way, you can see if those activities will give you decent returns for a long period of time.

Trading is risky and Lending is a stable incomr and you will lose some bitcoins it depends if the borrower runs the money but there is a collateral to put on before you approved in their loan request, He can lend on poloniex but just for low rate but your money is very secured and you can get it whenever you want and it is automated so your money automaticaly transfer in your balance.

Margin lending refers to kind of lending that goes on in exchanges, like poloniex. The colateral there is the actual account and you can never borrow more tahn you can pay. There is a small risk anyway, as in any kind on investment. If the exchange itself closes e turns to be a scam or in a major , major market drop that implodes the whole system. anyway considereing risk and benefit IMHO margin lending in exchanges such as poloniex with an established rep is fairly safe.

There were some deals reaching 0.2% per day too thats why OP said 0.5-2% atm per day. Lending may be one of the easy way to make money when you have some money but it is risky too so be cautious to whom you are lending and what is the collateral.

I'm only use lending service in Poloniex when don't have much time trading and only once, what I have earn is not so much, But still profitable than just keep my funds in Poloniex, but that's not the best way to get Bitcoin because the rate is small.

A deposit can secure the safety of your coins, but there are a lot of problems with it. You will have to implement it to get your money back.

This is a nice diversion instead on going to lend or use your money on poloniex better to go solo when you tend to build lending service and as just said you can possibly earn even more here on this forum but be sure on selecting legit guys over here because there are lots of scammers lurking.Lending business is profitable but the risk is very high but if you can handle it well and manage it with ease then there would be no problem at all.

You can earn more than that if you're going to choose to lend your bitcoin here in forum with some trusted member that has lots of trust rates already you can earn up to 5-10% of each lend anyways its just your decision if you think that makes your money more safer then choose that way there are lots of ways on how you can earn bitcoin from not choosing lending but if you have lots of coins why not? You can earn more than that if you're going to choose to lend your bitcoin here in forum with some trusted member that has lots of trust rates already you can earn up to 5-10% of each lend anyways its just your decision if you think that makes your money more safer then choose that way there are lots of ways on how you can earn bitcoin from not choosing lending but if you have lots of coins why not? So particularly to lend money online I prefer to keep collateral with me in the even if they don't pay back then I can easily liquidate that collateral and get back my money without much hard work. Bitcoin lending is a very risky investment and you can't be sure that you are in a safe zone when doing a lending business because there is some kind of person that will not pay you. So in order to be safe in lending business or protect yourself from scammers then you should request a collateral so you can avoid getting a huge loss of money.

No doubt that there are lots of multiple ways for the making earning in unlimited amount but you need to do hardwork with wisely smart hardwork .
Here if you will make 0.5 to 5% then your mind can't stop you to be greedy Because this percentage of the Earning is very low and you will get net loss of your time , so here it is more better to Invest your money in the stable.low priced altcoins , so that you can make a real income in the altcoins and bitcoin deals .
But if you have really a big amount of the money in millions then surely you can make better profit without any risk at the Poloniex like exchage .

Opening a loan service I think is a very risk, but it would not hurt if you want to try it, started with a small loan with collateral a loan equivalent.
But if you have the funds, try to start trading, because I think if you always profit from trading the results are not much different from the loan services.

The rate is too small for me. You can get higher rate in this forum but with more risk. You choose higher rank member that can be trusted and ask for collateral for the loan, that way even if you got scammed, you can get your money back. You can get higher income using that btc to trade alt-coin. The movement of alt is good this day and you get net some profit from it.

I don't think it is not necessary for a lender to know how to trade to be able to lend Bitcoin, but interest in Bitcoin definitely has to be there, to create the drive and faith. There is an added advantage with lending at Poloniex and it is that one's fund is relatively safer there than with going solo. Ultimately everything narrows down to the values a lender plans to accomplish - lower rates with security of funds or high rates with the attendant high risks. Better to move slow and steady than to climb hastily, only to end in some nasty fall.

I also agree with you. Yes lending money gives you earnings but also gives you doubt that is what you have lend be back to you?  It's a very risky thing to do. Unlike trading bitcoins, less risky and you'll be sure that you'll earn  because you'll also be the one to manage trading strategies you will use.

im pretty happy with polo lending, i wouldnt lend privately much 2 risky. i think its good to have some btc just for lending and hodling, its a small passive income and the way btc is rising you also got a very strong investment.

lending is ofc much more interesting when btc is sinking, atm everyones btc hodl so the lending marge is very small.

It doesn't worth very much, with a decent big capital you can earn much more from casino bankroll investments (and the risk compared to someone scam you is lower). The only risk is if the casino closes and run away, but if you choose a good site the risk is very low and you can enjoy a nice profit from it, at least a larger profit than lending money at Poloniex or any other exchange.

Users with good volume of ​bitcoin can start this service. It has high risk than what users expect. Lending service needs good trust rate if done through our forum. Other than this you could use poloniex or similar platforms which give trusted pay but the with less interest for the amount.

i will never like to invest in lending. as it is one of the most risky way of earning money, i think trading is the best way of earning money. in fact i also have good experience in trading alt coin and i also have interest in trading and that is the reason that i want to invest money in trading bitcoin. i think that in present time investment i bitcoin is one of the most secure way of making money.

Lending is not worth nowadays because bitcoin price has risen a lot and it is better to keep the coins rather than to risk to lose them in lending. No matter how good a website like Poloniex is , there have been problems reported there in lending, very few but have been. If you lend in this forum there is the same risk, many people here have seen their bitcoin lost because of people were tired of their accounts and let them as collateral, got the lending amount and disappeared from this forum.

Better to hold coins, it is the ideal choice now.

Btcjam could be a good option as many other services already mentioned, indeed if you could find a trusted platform and get solid collateral you could earn decent amounts as profit, but remember to make sure about the legitimacy of the collateral as that is the only thing you have until the return of your Bitcoin.
There are many people making a living by lending money in general but Bitcoin has provided a simple and more convenient way for them.

If you get a good collateral I see no reason why not lending and calculating the interest rate in BTC? that way even if the price increases you are getting Bitcoin no matter what.

Even me, I am not in favor with that thing. I guess making some lending business here is too risky even in some other sites even if they are reputed, we do not know who are those borrowers behind their names. There are lots of shady people around. But still people are doing lending service here as it is the only place where we can get loans by providing valid collateral ofcourse.

There are many other less risky ways to make money from your BTC. Holding them for a long term will be a better option if you dont have time to do much work. Lending is a process based on trust and sometimes people get out of line to scam a little money. So think a thousand times before risking your BTC.

Yes. The percentage of the returns per week is high in Bitcointalk so people are obviously interested in doing lending business here. Poloniex is a place where you can lend with less risks. But it's a tricky business and keeping full hopes on this would be a foolishness.

Yeah there is a great chance of scam as most of the lending sites are run by the people who are not revealing their identity and they may not be accessible at a time when it makes you to get your BTC back.
We don’t have the guarantee of the other party weather it is going to give back or not. Also in lending you stick to a limited earning which is not good for long term.

that is right but if we can found recommended sites like poloniex then we can tried to lending our bitcoin to make another profit. i am trying to lending my bitcoin and until now i can make free profit from lending although the amount is not too big at least i can have another profit but its depend on the rate of interest which is always change from time to time.

Their lending rate actually is 0.02% per day. That's mean 0.6% per month. That's too less profit then trading. But if you have lots of bitcoin for holding then why not lending there. It's great chance to get more bitcoin without do anything.

If we dont want to get complicated by thinking, lending is good way to get any income from our btc.
Definitely trading is my prefer. So i will do trading in some different coin.
