Its not worth it to buy it now. If you order now you will be lucky to get it by the end of the year.

There are 60,000 ahead of you and they will all be mining before you. The difficulty could shoot up to 200 million, 300, 400, 500 maybe even, and your miner may never pay for itself.

The wait is so long because they haven't finished designing them yet so they still have to build and ship and there is currently about 60,000 orders or more.

At they're predicted rate of building 400/day that is 5 months to get through them all. 400/day is awfully ambitious though and remember this is the company that said they were shipping last November. They tend to be overly optimistic to say the least.

They have not shipped in October 2012, as promised. They miserably failed their 1 GH/s per Watt promise. Heck, they failed on each and every occasion.

Why should they not also fail on assembly & shipping?

Ask them how many units they can ship today. Not how many they intend to ship "in two weeks". Not how many they promise to ship. Ask them for the actual number they've achieved to ship.

I would not buy any BFL product unless its delivery date was guaranteed. In fact, I would pay more out of my own pocket to mine coins through other means, just because I don't like the way BFL handles things and their shady background.
