The Xapo Card works just like any other debit card, but instead of drawing funds from your bank account, it debits purchases directly in bitcoin from your Xapo main wallet. You can use the card for online purchases, to shop at your local store, or at ATMs.
Yep. It is an online wallet though so it's not 100% secure. You should treat it like a current account and a hardware wallet or paper wallet like a savings account / store of cash.
Although you are quiet right that is not the main point of OP's question.
hi all, i order my xapo card...im just wonderin if in my wallet i leave it it in btc or i need to change it in my currency (canadian dollar) before i go withdraw at atm.i mean, can i leave it to btc and they will convert automatically ?
As Omegastarscream stated from XAPO terms, "Simply add bitcoins to your wallet and the card is ready for use" means the funds where automatically converted (it should in the first place) to your respective currency. It's quite difficult to think that an exchange will offered a debit card then we need to convert some of our funds first to our currency before we can use it in real world.
