What is in an airdrop? and will someone please help me with better understanding alt coin ANN thread with respect to how to reserve a language, early mining etc.

this section is the wrong one to post this message, but i can respond to you, an airdrop is a way to distribute coins to that were premined, it's the same thing as a giveaway or ico without the needs to buy

Everybody loves an airdrop it's free and could make you huge profit if the coin has a potential in the market,already made some profits on airdrops,we seldom see coins offering an airdrop because of the fear of people dumping their airdrop coin.

Going back on previous years I can still experience Airdrops but as of now i cant even hardly see one.Same as you i do make profits on airdrops which a certain coin gives free on some individuals/people. Its just like giveaways of coins and once you accumulate some of it then the waiting time starts and if you jump in on a potential coin then profits would really be there.

Definitions are being answered now by the posters above and I think that was easy to be understand. By the way, why all of a sudden you think of the word airdrop? You saw this recently at some Altcoin ANN thread this past days?

To better understand Altcoin ANN thread here and any related stuff, I suggest to make a daily or regular habit to read some of them. Even by reading their respective first page, surely you will soon know all the inside stuff and related thing to an altcoin.

It is all about the distribution of free tokens or giveaways on ico. Lots of projects usually do it to get more supporters.
