I'll do the .01 right now if you want.

that's a dollar thirty in usd right now. I think I'd rather wait and see if bytecoin springs to life.

How much USD do you think is 500 BTE worth?

How many USD do you want for your BTE?

1? 10? 100? 1000?

Gives us an idea of what you want

.02 still stands.  As you can see... people are just flocking to place bids on the BTEs you have for sale.

I'm parting .02 BTC which are worth something for something that is really worth nothing.

If that's actually what they're worth right now I'm just going to take my chances and continue to hold.

Has there even been a BTE exchange for the past couple days? What IS the market value? I have no clue.

cool, thanks byte gox.

ok so that order for my five hundred would have been a quarter of a bitcoin.

clearly, there isn't much demand, but that order did happen today, so how about .2 jimmy?

If you've got time to wait... put them on the exchange.  You'll get the best price there.

I already have a lot of the coins.  I'll spend .02 for BTE if you want to make an offer.

How about 50 BTE?

That's the top price for the buy orders on the exchange.  The coin is only worth as much as someone who wants to buy it.  I'm not willing to pay top price for the coin.

I reckoned the top price to be .025 for 50 on the exchange. ok about how about 70?

I'm looking to buy 10,000 BTE for 1.0 BTC which is parked at address 1PseBdQajdsdrm8TvnxwxHnwAd6EvN2saQ waiting for a successful seller. How about posting an address so we can see that you actually have 500 BTE to sell?

If Mt Gox would introduce bytecoin for trading it would be a great success because many new traders would confuse it with bitcoin.

But a byte is eight bits! They'd want eight bitcoins each for them! Smiley

We could explain to them though it actually means they are worth eight Satoshis (individual bits!) each. Tongue

the 500 BTE is here: 8UAkaZS6Ur6KBakYefm35eroQFFqPR1P9d

it was obtained from forum member elebit in a non-escrow exchange that went just fine.

50 has been promised to Walter Rothbard, and 50 is currently in limbo per this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=184481.0

So the offer only stands for 400 of them as of right now.

Also are you potentially offering only .05 btc for the lot of 500 (or whatever price equivalent?). I would need a little more or I'd rather just take my chances with Walter's thread up there and/or have a dead crypto to show my grand-kids, as another poster so adeptly put it.

Thanks for responding. For what it's worth, you are the first one I've asked that's actually posted an address. Had a few scammers respond via PM but they dissapeared  when I requested an address. Despite what is seen on exchange.bytecoin.in or the various orderbooks out there, BTE is still worth only what one is willing to pay. I'll stand with my original offer of 10,000 BTE per 1.0 BTC. Thanks again.
