Roberta ( . )( . ) asked me, "What do you think of my assets, are they good"?   To use Charles Dickens technique of an aside.  Oh my! yes they sure look good but are they liquid.  "Why yes  Roberta ( . )( .) an asset worth is valued based on its liquidity."  "Liquidity?" (.  )(.  ).  "I once had a chicken under each arm."  " I walked up and down the street to my neighbors and asked them to buy them."  "I got no interest."  "They either;  had chickens of their own, didn't want to eat them, collect eggs, raise them, use the feathers to tie fishing flys.  They had value, limited to only me and were not liquid."  "I could not change them into $."  (  .)(  .)  "Darn that's a shame!"  "Do you remember those Bitcoins I payed you with?"  "Yes ( ' )( ') I could spend them in Acopulco but its hard to spend them here!"  "How much are your chickens?"  "The chickens are lesser the point in that how easy is it to spend or convert your Bitcoins into another asset."  "Even Gold, if a lot of people are selling it."  "It must sell at a lower price." "The asset class is worth less."  ( . )( . ) "I want my assets to be worth more!" To do that you have to offer it in more places that people demand it ." Charles Dickens asside again.  Where are Bitcoins Liquid? ( . )( . ) "I am going to California next weekend."  "Where can I spend my Bitcoins?"  "Good question!"  (  .)(  .) "How much again for your chickens?"
