buying bitcoins with PayPal 72hour hold safe?

As above alot of sellers are offering bitcoins via PayPal but holding the funds for 72 hours. Is it any safer for buyer / seller?

nope the account hacked trick still works all the way up to 30 days and sometimes longer... if you have to buy bitcoin with paypal then you need to be a very trusted person as the seller takes all the risks. i use paypal as little as possible for selling bitcoins unless its someone iv done many many trades with and i trust alot

if your a buyer then your a bit safer but you will pay a premium most of the time

bought through paypal multiple times. good for buyer if you don't mind the higher price. bad for seller I assume vis a vis fraud/chargebacks etc.

I buy with Paypal sometimes and just send a "gift" and then you can't do a chargeback so should be ok

If the other person claims he was hacked, that is fraudulent usage, paypal WILL reverse.
