BIOS Mod for RX 470 with micron Memory possible?

Hello,

I have get my cards SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 470 Nitro 8GB OC (11256-17-20G) but on the cards have micron Memory. At stock the cards make 24 mh/s by 180 Watt and the Question is, it is possible to Mod this cards and make the cards a little bit faster and reduce the power consumtions?

Yes it is possible, download the latest Polaris bios editor and it should read it ok! Copy the 1625 strap and try to see what they can do by uping the ddr till it crashes! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1843147.0 here you can find Polaris editor for micron!

I have 6x Asus 470 8gb micron , moded the bios and put 1625 strap and then clocked ddr to 1950 and gpu to 1140 , up the TDP 25% and they make 27mgh. The problem is that if i put a monitor to any card wich is 1950 and hashing for hours with no problem and no errors in Hwinfo and stop the miner the pc crashes! I thought that one card is poor , but changing others and put the monitor to them they start to do the same, is there a way to fix this!
And don't believe that they burn 100watt, 6 cards burn 1200watt dualmining and 1000w only eth!

1:1625 (copy that to 1:1750 and 1:2000)

2:1625 (and the same here, copy this to 2:1750 and 2:2000)

I use msi afterburn to change tdp and clocks, but you can try with wattman too! It is interested that my bios don't have two row of timings , only 1 ! Obviously msi uses different micron memory from Asus! If you can see the chips of you card or that are hidden?
And yes copy both 1625 strap to the above, but be sure to copy it all!

Is it true that you can flash nitro rx480 8gb micron bios to nitro rx470 8gb micron card and get fully functional rx480 8gb card? I talk about nitro without plus. I would like to try but this card has no dual bios so I'm kinda afraid ))

i have all 6 cards flashed and now i have, 155 mh/s by 1050 watt at the wall
can i tune the cards with MSI afterburner under windows? and in case of yes, what can i change?

Hi guys,

I got 6x radeon rx 470 8GB with micron memory, before I flashed I was getting around 140 Mh/seg and around 1050 Watts. I flashed all my cards last night and Im getting around 156 Mh/seg around 26 each but Im not sure about the graphics temperatures..

whats is the best anyone got from such a card    

I got out 27.5 mh , but not stable

the best stable results were 25.85   at 1000 core clock and 1790 memory clock ..


any one could reach 28 something please share yr Modd .
