Now anyone see bitcoin has been reached at $1504. It is superb for me and also for all investors of bitcoin.
Since last year in 2016 in this month bitcoin was under $400 to $550. So now we see in this time bitcoin has a double or triple price. So its mean the next coming year in 2018 bitcoin will be reached at $2500 to 3000.
Am i right? what's your opinion?

This could but also doesn't have to happen. Bitcoin is not only rising progressive through the time, the price could fall also. Everything depends on the Bitcoin market, the supply and demand, the factors that inf the market, the big players, both countries and individuals and so on. We would all like to see Bitcoin price at 2500$ or more very soon but unfortunately Bitcoin is not that predictive.

Yeah, back in 2015 I think the prices were at $200 - $300 and I was able to buy about 3 btc. I wish I didn't lose that in gambling, I could have been rich by now. Ahh, good times. Working my way to get back what I lost, but it has been a long time and never was able to get it all back. I think btc will be able to get to $2,500 this year! I hope so.

I think in year 2016 it was around $700-$800.
As long as the users maintain their trust to this digital currency in many coming years especially those who invested big amounts of money the price will surely reach what we hope for, it might happen sooner if we could just figure out how to solve the bitcoin scaling.

Bitcoin is definitely rising and may even reached the predicted $2000 level or even $2500 towards the end of the year or early 2018...of course there would be expected bumps along the way but the direction seems to be upwards. Happy are those who are just leaving their Bitcoin sleeping they can wake up refreshed and highly valued.

Bitcoin price will be be easily predictable using linear extrapolation. With the wild ups and downs, I think we have a chance to see even $5000 by year end- or anytime if there is a chance for segwit activation. I hope LTC will be successful which will demonstrate scaling proposal is working.

And i think this is why btc is becomming a worldwide phenomenon in terms of mining. Many companies have built supercomputers just for mining. More and more btc are released for mining so i dont think btc like gold would vanish. Only the price would be manipulated and as far as i know commodities doesnt increase like how a btc would increase.

I don't think its going to happen. A lot of the bitcoin is being going up right now due to the good news coming in. Looking at the trend, it stops or reverses and really fast anytime a bad news or a big scam occurs in the bitcoin world. While I would hope it keeps going up, I simply do not see it hitting such high numbers within one year.

You have to understand that history can't be repeated in most of the case but it is not impossible. Same goes for bitcoin, yes price have almost tripled compared to last year but in 2018 price may swing between 1500$ and 2000$ or it can even hit 5000$, nobody can predict it accurately. However current price can be considered as good buy point if you can hold it for next 4-5 years.

There is no assurance but there​ is a high possibility that Bitcoin will reach that amount. Specially now that the bitcoin value is constantly increasing. Let us just hope the better things to happen on Bitcoin

I feel that this is anotherr bubble and it can burst soon, so you should not think that $2500 will be the price of 1 bitcoin next year.
There is so much price increase on everyday basis, even though the transactions are still a big problem to bitcoin adaption.

Bitcoin is not that predictive, anytime​it could go opposite to the predictions that the users make. Importantly right now we're not under control, which means the normal growth is happening without any market influence or the big investors play. Only if a panic situation arises among users once again we might experience a steep fall which might soon retain based on the etf.

This is first time I am also seeing btc prices soars past 1500$. This is a good sign as now price will start getting consolidated at a stage where it will try to get stable and remain for couple of weeks before getting higher.

I say this 3 options because we all know that bitcoin price is volatile, although is has been more stable this year compare to previous year. Personally, I hope this price run is sustainable. But in the other hand, sooner or later there might be a something that will cause the price dump resulting to another < $1100 again. For me, this is not a bubble because the price jump is not sudden. But what I'm afraid of is investors that are going to sell off their bitcoin because they have already make a profit gain. Huge profit gain. So if this happen, the price will drop a little. Good thing is bitcoin has this ability to recover from this kind of scenario. So lets just enjoy this price ride and hope for the best.

Your analysis is right and even everybody is happy that the price if bitcoin is increasing at a progressive rate but you will also agree with me that the journey has been long in other to reach the point at which we are today. To assume that by 2018 it would have reached $2500 to me would be a wishful thinking because it would mean we want to assume there are not factors that would negate that which can even make the price worse of from the position we are currently are. Let's just play the part we are playing and the the forces of the market or behind the market decide what the price will be.

I agree with you. Everyone watches growth and even compares with the past figures. But you always need to take into account the fact that something unexpected can happen. The world is developing and we can not guess what will happen tomorrow

When you are concerning about balance, I believe the prices are being raising for a reason like for increased demand so I think we cannot expect a progressive up surge through out the year. Traders always speculate for future prices and then the reality will follow them. I believe this what happening this time too.

I am sure, by end of this year, we might be having bitcoins value more than $5000. We cannot estimate how much demand the new investors and adopters of bitcoin will be bringing.

well the price target is above $5000 with the current situation and the current adoption rate in different countries around the world and we are rising at a reasonable speed it may seem like these days it is a more faster rise but in the overall speed of things, i'd say it is still on a good path.

if we can see at least $1900 to $2000 this year, then we are officially going towards that target.
then with changes in the adoption, hopefully some solution for blocksize debate and more countries doing the same as Japan we can start planning for $10,000

for now be careful and start learning the difference between dump price drop and correction drop so that you won't panic.
