Social media is not totally shit, you still can promote on facebook group and on instagram. It's depend on what products that you sell though, if you sell like cosmetics product, you can join a facebook group about cosmetics and you also can endorse somebody on instagram to use your products.

I am not sure promoting on facebook is good idea unless you have lots of real friends who will really check that promotion. Even if you do not want to join a group, their paid advert, most especially facebook is very effective if you have some little cash to spare and if you can target the right market as that is very important. Most people are always skeptical about using paid adverts, but you just have to make use of money to get money and you will be surprised at how fast adverts can get you there quicker than you'd imagine.

Right. I would say that facebook is the number one social media platform that everyone uses nowadays to promote anything. Millenials are a very good target and they are all active in this sites wherever you go so it's really the best choice even if you are still new in the business industry.

Don't forget twitter though, especially with the new increased character count. Pinterest is also worth using as well.

Facebook is good, you can reach a lot of audience through Facebook, and you can even reach more if you buy a paid plan. Instagram is just like Facebook, I even think that Instagram is far much better than Facebook, don’t know for you guys, but I hate Facebook. For YouTube, you will find it hard, because if you don’t have subscribers you will find it hard to reach an audience. Facebook is good, you can reach a lot of audience through Facebook, and you can even reach more if you buy a paid plan. Instagram is just like Facebook, I even think that Instagram is far much better than Facebook, don’t know for you guys, but I hate Facebook. For YouTube, you will find it hard, because if you don’t have subscribers you will find it hard to reach an audience. I agree with this and it's hard to share referral links otherwise because most forums don't accept them. In fact, many will automatically ban you for life if you break these rules so be careful what you post if you want to stay a member of a specific forum.

I bet this thread was made for cheap offers because we all know massive ads on adsense and TV ads are the most successful ways.
So lets start. For promoting products (something usable in real life) we can try discounts on amazon, selling for free in exchange of honest review, amazon vine too where there are some amazon verified and usually really honest reviewers, amazon chooses them, no one can apply as I know. Global promotion of product is very hard, also depends on where you live because for example in small countries internet ads can be very cheap because there are only some really popular websites. But finally you need much money or have to go on risky ways which can't help you in achieving your goal.

When looking at all the social media platforms all together, Facebook still seems like the best and the most effective way when it comes to paid adverts. For those who may have huge twitter followers though, it can still be easy to promote without adverts, although I have never really tried twitter paid adverts to see how effective it is.

Asides this, Instagram, BB adverts does not really seem to work much for me since I have tried them and I would rather push those funds on Facebook instead.
