Dear Friend

im purchase 3 Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ .  I bought at the store that sold me the wrong one.
I ordered Nitro+ and they delivered to me the Nitro Common (not +) ! The store send me a wrong card
They delivered me the sapphire rx480 ritro 4gb with elpida memory!
Without overclock These 3 Cards do only 22 mh/s.

I searched the overclock of these rx480 but did not find it!!

im try to copy 1500 to 1625, 1750 and 2000 ! and im put 1100 x 2050 abut the vga not support and freeze!!

Someone knows the overclock of rx 480 to reach the 30 mh/s HuhHuhHuh

This store has the Sapphire RX 570 Nitro+ 4GB.

It is better to change these nitro rx for those rx570 nitro+ Of 4gb or continue looking for overclock Huh

Which video card will give me more hashrate?

Thanks
Almir

If you want to reach 30mh you need to bios mod not just overclock , there plenty of threads here can teach you how, and i think you should go with the rx570 nitro+ , small hashrate increase than 470 and more power efficient , also better resell price...just my opinion

Technically, Yes you can  Smiley

Here is what I did :

Mod your original Nitro 480 by copying 1500 straps to 1625-1750-2000 on PolarisBios Editor. Save as a new mod file. Use atiflash to program your new mod file.

Reboot your machine and Run MSI Afterburner. Run your miner. Your Power draw will stick around 110 watt while mining. Set you Clock to 1050-1100  and wait to see ~85-90 Watt power draw. If you catch around 1090-1100 go by 1 at a time like 1095,1096... Mine was 1096 = 85 watt 1097=110watt. There is a jump point.

After you catch the point, increase your memory until it freezes then lower your memory 5 or 10 units to see if your miner stable...?

By doing this last night I was able to mode and OC my cards successfully. Sometimes you see your miners gets error. It is because memory is to high. Lower little bit. You should be good at 29mh+

Hope this helps.

I already did it but it did not work. im copy 1500 to all values above 1500. 1625 until 2000
and im put 1100 for gpu clock and 1950 to memmory clock ! but no work. screens freeze all time

The polaris have two groups!!! one that begins with 1: and another that begin with 2:00

obs : some people tell me this is not the best method and Polaris can not be used to change the bios of rx480 nitro with elpida memmory
