Soon? Not likely. The whole "banks use XRP" thing is kind of misleading. It's not like they're seeing the light of crypto and replacing fiat with it.

Look into the eyes.

Ripple will cannot overtake Etherium soon because the price of Etherium is too much higher than Ripple. In the marketcap volume it has but Etherium is also a famous altcoin like bitcoin so it takes time for Ripple to overtake Etherium and I think Etherium will update sooner.

This will happen, but nobody knows when.  I'll take XRP in the end, but you gotta give it a few years.

Probably. But not so soon. If you look at the price of these two crypto. The price of Ripple is too far from ethereum's price. It will take time to happen. Maybe a year and a half. XRP has potential. But only time will tell if Ripple can overtake ethereum. The price of this two are moving good tho. Eth is 1st and xrp is on second place in terms of volume at polo.

So you just bought XRP Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Sure, we will follow, hold your breath ! Preferabely over 5 mins !

Could you please explain me how it works with Ripple, XRP and when XRPis used. So far I understand that banks can use the software of Ripple, so far so good, but when do they need to use XRP and why is there such a high volume in XRP trading?

I mean how can you fake a marketcap of 8 billion dollar in XRP, there mus be something wich is working out for XRP. Thanks

ripple's growth is almost ridiculous but you'd understand why because of these banks. it may take months or even years before it can overtake eth because its also growing fast.

it would be risky to pump a coin without something worth believing to such coin.

I don't believe in this volume and marketcap much, most of the time this just fake.
Banks love Ripple and they don't like Ethereum, that's the fact because most just abandoned Eth.

This is the reality that about 11 to 12 banks just made contract with ripple for the Foreign exchage payment , so no doubt that use of the ripple by these banks will increase the value ( we can also see the impact of the news of accepting bitcoin by banks in exchage of big flutuation ) .
But here your word abandoning is misleading , it is because you can't say ETH is abandon by the banks or traders or bitcoiners Because the Current trend in the altcoins is in the ETH and everyone is going to buy the ETH like most stable altcoins .
So probably it may be possible that soon the value and price of the ripple may touch the ETH and Became a more stable like ETH DASH etc .

Yeah , no doubt that both of them growing fast but ETH started his stability from long ago but ripple got started after the ETH and other grow .
After the support of the bank ( by Worldwide banks ) the value and the basic support of the ripple coin will increase and will ofcousre like the ETH coin we have the Ripple coin to make profit andake earning speedly for us .
Overall we can say that ripple can't beat the ETH in this year , but if the support for the ripple by the Worldwide banks will grow like this then surely Ripple will be number one after the bitcoin and ETH .

It surely has potential. If not it wouldn't have the marketcap it has today. But if it will overcome ethereum any time soon or even at all is open to speculation. The thing I don't like about ripple is that the owner releases new tokens as he pleases.

All banks love ripple, but all of companies love ethereum. But both are serious competitor for bitcoin itself. Ripple and ethereum has a big chance to take over the bitcoin's place. But it's possible for ripple to take the ethereum's place but not for this time.

I don't think so. Ethereum is still the second best project after BTC, so Ripple won't come near to it any time soon. But if Ripple keeps going like it is, maybe, in the future it may become the second top crypto currency in the world. But there is a long way to go for that.
