You first line "sell dope" is not feasible already. If you are not into that business then don't try to even start. Just imagine how many lives will be ruin because of your business. If you have money to buy dope and sell at higher price why not just buy some mining rigs and start small. That way your conscience will not bother you, have a clean life and no cops circling your house. That simple.

There are easier ways to launder money than through Bitcoin mining. In most jurisdictions you still need to pay taxes on your mining income.

Capital gains taxes are usually much lower.

Pretty much this. The "swap cash for BTC" would be the weak link in this money laundering scheme, but I guess it could be doable if you go around exchanges and use P2P exchanges on Localbitcoins or something similar. Also, if you make a lot of BTC with these mining rigs, then it will probably raise red flags when you exchange the BTC for cash through legitimate exchanges (or even P2P exchanges if done in a high enough quantity and frequency).

So, in the end I think you're better off simply keeping the cash in your mattress and using it for small purchases that won't bring attention to yourself (no mansions, yachts, sports cars, etc..), or using other means to launder the money.

Well, everything looks simple and easy. But the cheapest mining equipment costs like 500€ and for someone it can be really big money. I think to get real profit with mining you have to be a programmer who know all the details of the process and who know which altcoins is worth to invest to allow to live only from this money.

Hardest part here is to swap your black money into bitcoin. You can't use legal/registered trading platform to buy bitcoin with all those dirty money, so you have to find some local dude to make a deal for fiat to btc conversion which is quite risky.

Other parts may work but if bitcoin price went down or mining difficulty explodes, than you may have to wait for more than a year to get back what you have invested on those mining farms.

Depends where you're from.
I know a few guys in western Europe that are able to exchange 25-50 btc a day in cash.
Trusted and with good reputation on localbitcons.

I don't assume op had in mind 10 millions or so.

It is not easy to send money as you think and how can you convert your hard cash to bitcoin without using a banking service and if that is how you are planning to convert your coins then you will be leaving a trail,so that is not possible.It is not that easy like you say so.Lets think straight and start paying taxes .

Yeah definitely however there is really no need for you to buya  mining farm because honestly that's not going to earn you much and the bitcoins you earn are already pretty much untraceable and you can anonymously sell them on peer to peer exchanges.

But yes, there will be a problem for you to get from cash to bitcoin because you'll definitely see some KYC and AML roadblocks in your way. And China recently just decided that they want to see how you funded your account as well.

Just don't do it man... Not worth the risk

If it was indeed possible, I would suggest people should just convert their cash into bitcoins and hold. Makes much more sense than buying a mining farm and burning your bitcoins.

Second part onward is fine your a new mint the coins start with you although technically you still need to pay the electrical bill at the end of the day so if you get a knock on the door they may think you were a weed grow-op or something unless you can somehow get free electricity.
Hence you missed a step get solar power and be off grid
Although the launder part well at some point you convert it to cash somewhere so the answer is sort of you paid for it in electrical costs.

Go to a Bitcoin BTM machine otherwise localbitcoins, small amounts use interac with a service such as quickbt. Else do KYC lol.
Could even do a preloaded card option at most any store in Canada primarily Esso using flexepin but that is quite a slow way to get coins
