IOTA - as far as I know it is the only coin that has zero fees.

On top of this, it is massively scalable, is quantum proof and has real world partnerships with major companies.

IOTA is amazing....but is it undervalued is the question. I heard its already passing hands at 250m market cap. To be a decent ROI now would need it to be in the billions. I wish I bought in the ICO.

it's a strange time right now if you wanna put money in.

big risk and the potential gains don't seem worth it with so many coins now.

people seem to be thinking it's breeze to reach billions and it has been for some.

it seems exactly like 2013 was for bitcoin. everyone seemed to think world domination was inevitable.

a lot of that price was down to gox and China crap but I have no faith in the integrity of alt markets.

Kind of agree. We are not quite at Tulip mania stage yet but people are getting complacent and thinking they can invest in any top 20 coin and it will just keep going up.

everything that is not on par with the big coins while maintaining the same emission rate is undervalued, look i give you an example so you understand better, you have decred that have 5 min block time and 15 decred per block, this si 288 x 15 = 4320, now take spreadcoin, 1 min block time but 4 coins per block, this is 1440 x 4 = 5760, very similar emission and supply cap is the same around 20M for both, yet one is at 0.01 btc the other at 20k satoshi, this is the definition of undervalued for me

Monero.

It has had steady growth for many months without the pump+dump foolishness. It's the most fungible and private coin available. That alone makes it valuable, but when you consider that it has many big features in development that should be out later this year (multisig, mobile wallets, KovriI2P), those will almost certainly raise usage and demand.

#

Price just started to rise a bit. Everything below $45 is a buy as it will easily reach the current valuation of Dash.

1 year ago xmr was under 1 USD. Today it is almost 30 USD and you are telling us it was not pumped and it is undervalued? It made X30 pump, so  it is not undervalued!

VLT is the best kept secret. Only about $500 grand marketcap with 500,000 coin supply. Consider they are building a rival to surpass the lightning network.

Coin distribution is strong after a whale sold off about 10 % of all supply this week.

It is, to me, a pretty obvious bet. $20-$50 mill in 2017. $100m+ in 2018. Assuming they get it on better exchanges and actually market it, though the devs seem to not care about that noise yet, but people in the know are moving quietly on it.

VLT? A coin of the famous scammer John Connor the former creator of a scamcoin vanilla coin?  Grin

IMO it is still undervalued...way undervalued. There are so many other coins and tokens that have rocketed in price but either don't solve real-world problems or have much use. Monero solves the real world problem of how to keep your financial activity private, and people can use it now (as opposed to the promises of future use of many other coins). The need for privacy in financial matters is already needed, and that need is only going to increase with so many governments and companies monitoring people's financial activity.

So, if dozens of coins with no real-world solutions are trading above $50 (and close to $100), and since Monero solves real-world problems and is actually being used, it's an incredible bargain. On top of that, the reasons I listed in my last post will further increase usage and demand.

Sorry but.... Zcash looks like me to a black hole of distressed dead. Instead, I think XMR is way more undervalued, because it is the most private coin there is. Way more private than Zcash.

Qora, marketcap of 250K USD ... awesome tech, full crypto platform - assets, DNS, decentralised www etc

Bitmark, marketcap 2M USD ... used by poloniex for 'marking', major updates dropping soon

Both could easily x10, Qora x20

Nearly every coin has skyrocketed these last few weeks. Would you consider anything still a good buy or undervalued - even at this astronomical prices? Diamonds in the rough?

Maidsafecoin , bitbay are the coins I think that are undervalued,  since they had been in the market for more than 2 years now and still have not skyrocketed in price yet.    Besides, it has been in that price range for too long I think it will increase in price any time soon.

FWIW- Steem doesn't have transaction fees either.

Is Iota even on any exchanges? It is not on Coin Market Cap.

@OP - It is hard to find undervalued coins these days seeing as though so many of them have already been pumped so much. I would wait for an ALT coin market correction before buying too much.

I believe Viacoin and Veltor are two great options.

Then there's POSW which is really cheap right now, as well as Darcrus and Mercury.

I also like XtraBytes (XBY), new and very interesting technology behind it.

Unitus is a very underrated coin. In the past month it has made a nice pump 10x but it still has a lot potential

With a total supply of 45,000,000 there is plenty of room for growth

The price now is $0,01 and it is traded on shitty markets like yobit. Once it gets added to a bittrex or a poloniex it can easily do a 10 times more to reach a value of $0,10. Also worth mentioning that there is growing support for this coin from China

All the claims that Monero havent been pumped are BS. Look at the one year chart and decide for yourself. Same with a lot of the other coins people are saying "havent been pumped yet".

IMO with all the current top coin pumped to hell, I think it's not a good choice for now.

My choice now is Bitsend (BSD):

It`s like dash, but without the instamine.

Cheaper than PIVX if you are into Masternode.

Good community, airdrop still available for all (not a lot of coin are given, but it prevent price dump.)

They have a good forum site too.
