The price will behave as the price of other investments will - ups and downs and usually in trending patterns.

"Adoption", its always the common reason why a certain coin do pump its price if theres demand then expect for the price to rose up and seeing on the current development of ETH, many already accepted it which does mean demand do increase and price do increase too.Its not surprising because you can see this on most altcoin in the market.It does still collapse and dont expect too much on rise.

BTC meanwhile is repeatedly shooting itslef in the foot, indicating that it is incapable of dev when needed, the opposing sides can not even compromise.

I would not be surprised if PPC takes over from BTC as the reserve currency/store of value, because PPC was designed to be this, BTC was not but is now trying to be that.

Its pretty much dead for buying coffee at this point.

Monkey see Monkey do, you know how it goes. Eth will be the new GovCoin for governments, because the Dev team is doing everything the governments wants them to be. They have focused on filling the role that Bitcoin do not want to be, namely a Government SlaveCoin.

They started out as a technology that were touted as the ultimate "Smart contract" solution and now that Bitcoin is struggling with the scaling debate, they are being marketed as the "Currency" solution.  ^LoL^

ethereum also is bound to increase because it has already a big marketcap, coins with big marketcap are seen as a more secure and more trusted by investors

I still believed that they are still a pump and dump coin. How can they be a solution when they are now a SlaveCoin? Its just like any other alt-coin, traders going to pump as hard as they can, then boom, everything crashing down on the floor. They have now a big marketcap because simply investors and whales are just simple pumping them. So I don't think the price is sustainable in the long run.

Ethereum is a regulated asset under the New York Department of Financial Services.

You know what I mean? Looks ethereum is a legal asset right now.
But ethereum gets more traction due the scalability of bitcoin prevents bitcoin from getting more adoption. I mean more people try to use it as off bitcoin blockchain transaction.

Well, I guess people want to diversify their earnings into bitcoin and Ethereum because they don't want to hold only bitcoin. If bitcoin hard forks some people would just like to quit bitcoin altogether, and Ethereum seems like the best bet for the leading altcoin right now. Ethereum also has better scalability atm than bitcoin so, i guess people like that. And less transaction fees.
