Yeah, not another Silk Road thread, sorry...

Site seems back up but now my login info doesn't work anymore. Hopefully SR admin finds this thread and repairs the problem.

Any other SR users experiencing this issue?

Bizzare - I was just able to create TWO new accounts, and after each new account creation I am sent back to the login page - and I can't log into the site with either new account!

So now I have three accounts (original plus two new ones) that I can't log in with!

WTF is going on? It's not a captcha problem because I had to input captchas when creating the two new accounts. And when I am on the login screen, I type in username, password and captcha all correctly - but it doesn't let me in and just reloads the login screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

...just about to give up on SR, which is just as well I guess!

Is this site dead, or can new users still get in? I am willing to pay BTC to get an account...

Ok. False alarm. It was an issue with my browser settings. All is good - now I can browse to see what all the fuss is about.

drugs mostly/porn/a gun/ around at most 50 listings in total. spent longer finding the address than I did looking at it. Just had the wrong sort of media hype. but like normal if you don't understand something attack it as most people will look to the negative and not to the positive outcomes.

we need to step lightly here, on SR: a lot of people correctly think we bring harsh attention not just to SR, but also to BTC.  There are forums on tor now, where we can keep up to speed...I don't have the tor's site with me, but I'll post it and then hopefully in future, if SR is down, we can get info there...in any case, it's back up, and now, while all is well, we need to all get the  onion site where there is always an SR thread going on, w/no hassles...best wishes, and thankyou to all the people on this forum who tolerated us while our site was down...

Works for me. Silkroad is quite pricey but I guess it's the cost of convenience.

That was Black Market. Silk Road is a different site.

Please don't donate to 1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE - that would just be stupid.

I not into buying anything on Silk Road, too paranoid etc. but if one wanted to look just to see what they got, dose that mean you got to use Tor just to visit the site?
