Can someone please explain where I have gone wrong with my fee? Bare in mind that when I broadcasted this transaction the avergage fee was 60 sat/B. My fee is 100 sat/B which totals 0.00244634 but it's been stuck for like a day and a half or something.

Where am I going wrong?

The full analysis of the problem + the possible sollutions => https://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=78d646934f25c8aa168805b4dbd29c01e619b8c1f27c3032f7a084b9d0ff9ec0

It basically breaks down to the fact that at this very moment, 100 sat/byte isn't sufficient to have a 95% chance of getting in the next 24 blocks (4 hours). It does not matter what the fee was at the time you broadcasted the transaction, a miner doesn't care about the order in which he received the transaction, he only cares about which transaction in his mempool has the highest fee/byte, even if older transactions are still unconfirmed.

Doesn't matter if your fee is higher than others, it should be above a certain threshhold for your transaction to be included in one of the following blocks after propagation. Cointape.com is a tool that could help you find suitable fees for faster confirmation if you insist on inputting them by hand. Another solution would be to simply pick a better wallet service/client.

Bear in mind though, bigger fees don't guarantee timely transaction confirmation because your transaction would have to get into a block and sometimes that takes much more than the "average" of 10 minutes.

Thanks for your input. I think where I am going wrong is I have been relying on https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/ to tell me what the fee size is. I think it's giving me the average fee size, not the highest at the time.

Thanks again.

Everything depends from the site through which you provide your transaction - Do they have such money in the moment or not. I pay 0,0005 for the transaction and the last time I have waited 5 days to move money from one wallet to another.

You transfer with quite high fees, I also do not know why but I send normally takes about 1 hour! It seems that where you "Broadcast" transactions also affect the time of confirmation, this is just my own perception.
