currently running with -v 19 -w 128

any tips i would like to be hitting 300

idk if this is allowed in the newbie section tbh though but i appreciate all help

currently 275 it was 220 earlier but i rearranged the card in the case with better power supply in and id like to mayby push 300 if possible

You can often find extra toggles or miner settings used for various cards on the wiki : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

I am able to get 296MH/s with my HIS 6870 (reference design):

Phoenix 1.5 using phatk
worksize 128
aggression 11
bfi_int
vectors
Core at 990mHz
Mem at 880mHz
Stock voltages.
Fan at 65%
GPU ~74C with case closed.

I have been able to get 305MH/s by pushing my core to 1,000 but it is not reliable for more than a few minutes.  990mHz is my limit.

if your are maxing out on overclocking using catalyst control center, go download MSI Afterburner and google how to make it overclock the core even higher

one extra flag to use -f #

# = number

smaller the number the less responseive the system get, but increases Mhash

I was able to squeeze 15-20 Mhash with that
