Regardless of these considerations, Bitcoin or another decentralized cryptocurrency can never be the leading one among other currencies. She will walk predominantly between citizens. Whether it will be massively used by business structures will depend on how complete and favorable it is for legalization on the part of states. The states themselves are unlikely to use it very widely due to its high price volatility.
However, even by its nature, a decentralized cryptocurrency can walk in society only together with a common currency and cannot replace it.

Nobody would want their currency to be fluctuating so much that the value they have today could be have less value tomorrow.
also it is finite which will eventually run out. what I think is that bitcoin and block chain technology is the stepping stone for a better
newer cryptocurrency that is accepted in every country.

If you said bitcoin is the leading currency in the crypto currency then everyone will be agree, but if you are talking about comparing bitcoin and Dollar or Euro then bitcoin will never defeat them, fiat money is controlled by the government and basically got no limit because they can just create more, while bitcoin got a limit, so there wont be enough for bitcoin to dominate fiat and of course the government will never agree with the idea of bitcoin become a leading currency
I'm also not too sure if bitcoin can be a major currency, all countries already have FIAT currencies which are the main currencies of their respective countries, even bitcoin is also not registered legally in global currency trading securities. therefore the possibility is very far if bitcoin becomes the main currency. |

I think that bitcoin was the leading digital currency in the past years and i think this can be the leading currency in future as well, there are some coins that can give bitcoin tough time but i am not sure most of them reach to the level of bitcoin in future. I hope that upto next year bitcoin value may increased more.

Bitcoin will still be a leading currency till his market's cap becomes lower than other crypto currencies.
Still there's a long way to go, sure there will always be several bitcoins lost till the last mined one.
Nevertheless maybe someone realizes a new solution to keep up and make up new addresses into Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not possible to be the main currency. because indeed if we look at this it is not possible with fluctuating prices and also very risky. but with the blockchain later it can provide a new thing that might also be a digital payment option.
I agree with you that bitcoin will not be a major currency, because besides the price is not stable, there are still many countries with low levels of public education so that it would be difficult if using bitcoin. Besides that there are still many internet networks that are slow. But if this is an alternative currency, I am sure it will be usable because this is a reasonable choice for middle and upper class people who have mastered technology and already established economic levels. |

They still find and learn more about cryptocurrency, and I think if they can see the benefits of using cryptocurrency, soon they will try to use cryptocurrency and bitcoin for making a transaction. |

Bitcoin has always been the leading crypto currency, it's dominant rate will simply explain it. Now, it dominant rate has increase to 62% and will continue to grow as bitcoin continues to pump, though some of us don't want to see this as it could affect the growth of altcoins but that's what it is now, people are trusting more in bitcoin compared to the combined altcoins. |

For how many years bitcoin has a good impact from many investors and still the bitcoin is leading currency and having huge of value in crypto market, there are several coins coming out in crypto space but bitcoin still strong and most popular to the people.
bitcoin is still growing now, and certainly in the future I believe that bitcoin will grow again. although sometimes bad news about bitcoin happens. but in essence bitcoin continues to grow and develop. |

bitcoin is still growing now, and certainly in the future I believe that bitcoin will grow again. although sometimes bad news about bitcoin happens. but in essence bitcoin continues to grow and develop.
I dont see how bitcoin ever had any bad news. If you talk about speculation then a lot of blind followers make false assumptions and dream on them what would happen next. That is no way a news, just delusions. If you talk about people scamming crypto then its also got nothing to do with bitcoin because it was the transaction method used and not the scam itself. As you can see if you look carefully through every "biased" news article out there, very few times have we had bad news for crypto mostly being declared illegal by other countries. Rest of the news is just speculation. |

For me, bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency if you will check at the price chart. But there will be a chance the bitcoin might drop or become the 2 top cryptocurrency and another crypto become the next top 1. Cryptocurrencies value is volatile, so even the price gap is a way too far the other cryptos has still a chance notably if a big company, government, or influential person support it.  |

Bitcoin has always been the leading currency on the market irrespective of how much a coin may surge. Bitcoin was able to capitalize the market during its early stages before the creation of other coins hence it has got lot of user-base and its community is also strong and supportive which is one of the main factors required for the survival of a coin on the market.

today, I am thinking, that bitcoin is simply overhyped and overbought! It is not main currency of all cryptocurrencies, no. Bitcoin technology is old and transactions are not fast at all, there are a lot of potential coins which are not hyped, nobody is looking into technology all are looking on prices and markets nowadays.. people are tooo greedy  |
