The tremendous growth of bitcoin's popularity and usage around the world can establish itself as one of the leading currency and rival those fiats that has been used for many decades or centuries.

True that. Compared to any other monetary system bitcoin did surpass several odds to reach a notoriety that we have not seen for any other currency. I wont say its the top but it definitely is a force to be reckoned with.

The price of the leading cryptocurrency continues its uptrend with a possibility of creating another all-time high this year.

The week it was a bit stagnant. I hope to see better movements this year though after last years sideways trading and bearish trend before that.

But the use of bitcoin is still limited compared to the major currencies of the world and governments are used to centralized currencies where they can easily controls and manipulates it. Decentralized currencies like bitcoin may not become a major currency but it will remain the popular currency to those who want to become a financially independent.

The bigger attraction of bitcoin comes from the speculation regarding it. People speculate about its price and become happy that its going up so they buy it more. While financially it is still far from becoming an independent currency we can see the unregulated usage of bitcoin posing a threat to its own acceptance.

I don't think there is any problem with paying and all the only problem that was there in the network was the high fee that the users paid for the transactions but at the same time you should know that that has been solved till to an extent by the lightning network.
We can actually pay without constraints , only some wallets do have a minimum value allowed for further transactions , but that is just the case with some wallets.
You can now just scan the QR code and pay the money and it will be okay in any way.
