Blocknet - truly decentralized blockchain interoperability. Could be a game changer for decentralized exchanges. Price is now at 50% of the recent high.
Shift - looks like breaking out because of very good news. Recently had nearly 100 BTC daily volume (highest ever for this coin). The Phantom IPFS (decentralized storage) tech will most likely release in the next few months, which should push the price up.
Janus - pretty low market cap. Read the BCT thread for more info.
Blitz - not too much development apart from The Viral Exchange, but apparently it will be a sidechain of Stratis. Risky because of lack of developments, but the low marketcap of $500k means it can easily double in a few hours.
Darcrus/Mercury - blockchain database startup. Mercury in particular has low market cap and seems to go up even after any dip.
Gambit - custom trading indicators / trading group. They buy into some crowdsales and burn tokens based on profits. Still low market cap of $3 million for what they're doing (like Iconomi).

Golem I think is a really good investment. However, I think he's right in that it will take about a month. It's hard to make a call on what coin will only take a week to double your money. But for sure if you're not in that much of a hurry, pick up some Golem

Golem I think is a really good investment. However, I think he's right in that it will take about a month. It's hard to make a call on what coin will only take a week to double your money. But for sure if you're not in that much of a hurry, pick up some Golem

Every altcoins has their stable price in a few moments. If we talk about this week, maybe ripple will give it to you. Litecoin is another one that you can choose. Be careful of some altcoins that attract you to buy them with their extreme pumping this week, it would be a trap.

oh boy, that is the million dollar question isn't it!

i have stellar and ripply in my possession, and they have been doing well, i don't see another 2x rise but they will surely rise.
litecoin obviously is on the rise and will reach nearly 2x rise in the next week that the SegWit activation happens.
i see a lot of people interested in Golem! which is weird but i have that under observation without investing in it.
i also have a feeling that PIVX is going to see some rally very soon. and it can be a big one this time. so it is to good to have that in mind too.

Lunyr and creditbit. Lunyr has make almost 60% returned in price and still going on. Creditbit just started massive marketing and campaign and I expect increasing in trading volume as many trader will see it as an opportunity to investment and making significant returned. Litecoin is also waiting for Segwit activation for the price to pump to the moon.

I think Stellar Lumen is the best bet, honestly. For sure there is some altcoin out there on Poloniex who can give you even more in less time, but it's more of a casino. Stellar Lumen is also on Kraken (as XLM) nd that exchange is more selective about which altcoin gets listed on their exchange, making it a safer bet. Also, I tripled my money in a few days already, and the rise of this coin is still young (when comared to the madness that was and currently still is Ripple) so there is a lot of room to grow in the coming days. I'd buy before it hits 0.015 euros (major barrier right now, after that it is going upwards)

Pick some cheap coin like HALLOweencoin that only costs a few satoshi and hope the price doubles.

Im sure there are a few coins like this that were dead and have new developers and will have big profits.
ICASH is another one but I don't think it will double in a week. That is more of a long-term investment IMO. 40 or 50 masternodes have been added in the last week or two.

Vertcoin (VTC) had a good rally today as they activated SegWit today and after that the price has risen more than 60% and if you are able to follow every team news then it is possible to know what the future holds but i am not sure what the long term prospect is but i had my returns for the day with VTC.

I don't think it will go back down a lot (unless the crypto bubble bursts within the week - but in that case it wouldn't have mattered which coin you bought), but if you only bought today, I can't promise x2 within the week (because that would mean the coin would have to have gone x20 or so in a few weeks). It has been pumped immensely the last few days without rest. So once there will have to be consolidation before it goes up again. You still have a good chance though, my intuition feels.

A bigger investment into a steady prospering "heavy weight Altcoin" should beat any twofold on a gamble using only spare money. That "invest only what you can risk to loose" and heading for high yield adventures has done me no good. Sometimes lucky, all to often not. Again, next round:

A slight effect might be in the workings. Tossing some money at a fresh tip originating from BCT, I picked 50% Golem along 50% iEx.ec now. The mood point is BOINC, that university project that basically offers decentralized supercomputing since before even BTC existed. If one (Golem) or the other (iEx.ec) can monetize decentralized computing against BOINC's first mover advantage (and free offer, undercutting all others), that would be a win.
Gridcoin tried piggybacking on BOINC, and somehow had been a success for my investment. Just after lots of hickups, a coinswap, bazillions of recompiling and installation nightmares. I had built markro scripts for fetching&compiling that stuff.
So much about history of decentralized supercomputing.

If dabbling with crypto does not turn out satisfactionarily in a financial way, it makes one at least gain a lot of knowledge.
