why i need to wait so long to get 3-6 confirmations,  even first one take about 8 hours.


bitcoin used to be paid within 30 minutes , things have changed in 2107 ...


i see bitcoin core vs unlimated now  it's not handy and i pay the standard fee if not little more.

It's just the way it is now, transaction confirmation times got slower because there are so many transactions that occurs every hour and minute in bitcoin unlike on the past years, transactions can be handled fast by the network. For now all we can do is be patient about it. Sometimes though its just 1 hour wait even if the fee is regular so I pay regular fee even if it takes long, I will just wait for it since it also takes long even if you pay a little more so I pay the standard fee.

Surprisingly, I understand what you're trying to say here, and I fully agree with that.  I'm currently waiting for a transaction to confirm which has been stuck in the network for most of the day--and the sender didn't use an unreasonably small miner fee by any means.  There are just too many transactions, or there's a spam attack or something.  I don't claim to know.  Sure gets annoying, though.  But OP, you're not alone here.  We're all feeling the pain.

getting a place inside a block (getting your transaction confirmed) has turned into a competition of who pays more and when the spam attack becomes stronger this competition becomes harder and harder. the only thing that we can do at this point is either paying a higher fee or waiting till the spam attack stops.

Make no mistake if bitcoin tool for payment and have a better value to invest.
