Yes, unless you used Ripple as some lever to get more of another coin, it's too early to sell. Now it's just pumping because it's Ripple pumping season because good news is coming. The good news hasn't hit the big public yet, so the big rise is yet to come.

I'm also using Ripple to get more of another coin I believe in though though (so it's like free extra cryptos without paying more fiat ), and as soon as my target is hit I will convert it back to the other coins, but I also have a large stash of fiat I pumped directly into Ripple, and I'm not selling for at least some months or even years (depending on how the situation develops).

I am doing the same. because the news has not even hit the market. So two big things coming .

June : Ripple will announce Lock-Up of remaining XRP, stagnating the supply worries for next several years. Big deal.
August 2nd Week : SBI Japan will open their first virtual currency exchange ( first time a traditional bank is doing this ) - They already have 21 Million Netbanking customers who are kyc'ed and all ready. they dont even need new logins. even 10% of those customers participating is 2.1 million people ! this alone is enough to explode ( consider given volume and the volume that will be added by 2.1 million people )


if those 2.1 million people on average even invest 10 dollar each, thats 21 million new usd demand .. think about it..

i really think XiaLang is right. there might be temporary dips, but don't want to take a chance, Will hold tight till end of august and then take some profits...

Honestly I've sold too. Bought this morning at 0.00006730 and sold a couple of hours later at 0.00008351.

Yes you are Wrong, i have never even once mentioned anybody to buy anything. I don't advice anybody. and everything i have pasted is not from ripple, I am fan of ripple and IOV. Hence, i closely follow related news.

I have pasted links from SBI, Ripple, Twitter, FED, Bank of England, Bloomberg and you-tube. may be more... but all truthful and real info. then, People make their own mind.

There has been a lot of misinformation and divergence campaign lately and I am doing social good by giving real sources, conformable evidence and breaking illusion. That's the beauty with truth, you don't need to persuade anyone.

So, Go plow somewhere else & if and when you have something genuine i will be happy to correct.

Of-course i love Ripple, and i have nothing to do with the company, nor i am its Employee. I love the concept of IOV and don't want such beautiful technology to fail, just because some folk does not want to give in to evolution. and hence a big fan of it, I think its the next future of financial rail-road, and i will do everything in my legal capacity to support it.

Hi i don't think it will quadruple this month... at-least not by fundamentals... .. but if it does in some wierd manner ( with crypto speculation etc ) then your 60$ will be worth 240$.

more realistically we are seeing just 2 USD by 2018 end which is great and real world utility based minimal growth.

With bitbank listing XRP in July and SBI Japan opening VC Exchange August, and RCCloud going live in October... man ! its like a Star studded event line up. Each of those events are going to boot the price no doubt.

And now add to that, Ripple might be announcing lockup next month - June 2nd week !


 Seems like June 2nd week, July 3rd week,  August last week & October 2nd week of this year are key turn dates when XRP will appreciate in a major way, and will never be the same again.

This is just astonishing. I have always viewed Ripple as sketchy, they had some weird premine scams or something like that surrounding them, and i thought it would never rise as much as it did. Not it is almost looking towards $1 per coin :O Although not really, because it would have to surpass Bitcoin in order to achieve that kind of marketcap.

XRP is a premined coin. So the volume is already known but some of them is in the market while most of them are stashed by Ripple Inc.

As far as I know lockup is/will be the commitment of Ripple Inc in which she says "I will not release more than that amount of XRP into the markets ever or at least for that time"

This saying will be contracted against some authority. Without a lockup nobody can know when and how much XRP will Ripple Inc release into the market. This lockup will be  a confidence token in regards to amount of XRP and its prices.

Basically XRP will be a deflationary coin. Technically its price will increase because the amount will decrease in the market after each transaction since the top amount in the market is specified and limited.

For this assumption to be true there must be an (increasing) interest in XRP to buy, exchange and use it.

I do not think so, really now its price is unreasonable, it is rising too fast and this is unstable, all I know is that the price of the ripple is very unstable and it can collapse at any time. I think the instability of ripple is due to investors and traders, they are trying to create traps that increase the value of the ripple, then they get a profit from it. But sooner or later, huge pump will stop and the ripple will return to its real value, ripple will collapse, this is a sure thing to happen, the only problem is time

I don't think so. Ripple had the "poloniex incident" a couple of weeks ago. That killed any chance of a healthy rise for more than a month. But this absolutely futile passed month was full of good news about XRP. So what we see now is less than half a pump. It is in the first place a correction to the value, which is entitled for XRP.

Just found a massive buy wall of 526 bitcoin for ripple in Polo for 11000 sat,i think there will be another push for the coin and i am glad i could enter it after seeing all the hype in this forum as well as news that banks in japan formed a consortium for cross border and domestic payments with ripple and so is the reason we are seeing this surge.
