Hi,

This cant be correct right? If I buy 2 of these ANTMINERS L3+ 504MH/s: https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201704270330299161GIIoSKl067B&utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=l3%2B-ads-28-04-2017&utm_content=r%2Flitecoin

And mine LTC, is this the correct earnings, using Cryptocompare.com: https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/ltc?HashingPower=1000&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1720&CostPerkWh=0.11

It seems to be too good to be true? Mining cant be this profitible right?

Thanks

Seems about right.  Scrypt mining is decent right now until the L3s flush out the profits.  I expect it will go down by the month as miners keep coming out.

it's true, baikal was more profitable back when dash was at 0.1 bitcoin in value, and this is now profitable like was for a-900 giant, i see nothing special, everything is very profitabble now gpu included, but, there is a but, the L3 is not available until summer, and by that time the diff will be so high that your profit will be half of what is now

Like others have posted in this thread, the shipping date for those L3+'s are end of july.. the litecoin mining difficulty is likely to be much higher at that point in time and therefore, assuming the price of ltc/usd will be the same when the l3+ ships, the profitability will be lower.

However if the price of ltc/usd increases by that time, the profitability could be as high as it is now. it is a risk

Keep in mind that Litecoin difficulty has DOUBLED in a bit more than a month, due in large part to massive sales out of Bitmain of the L3/L3+ = and you can anticipate the difficulty continuing to rise quite quickly for the same reason for at least a couple more months, even if Litecoin prices flatlines in the current 25 dollar range.

Scrypt profitibility RIGHT NOW, even so, is higher than it has been anytime in the last 2 years - but that's not going to stay that way unless Litecoin price continues to outpace difficulty growth.

On the other hand, those of us with older PAID FOR rigs like my A2 farm are LOVING the current profitability....
