hello guys,

I was supposed to recieve bitcoin to the following adress:1GrXsYddDyggPC77EHtxWBMDBYDRUHiyfu(this is my adress)

amount 0.285

transaction number 736c302952c38d3e5490edee2a253f0b0674f614830737a6d53993b47c78b9bf.

the sender says he sent the bitcoin and cant do anything abt it .
https://blockchain.info/tx/736c302952c38d3e5490edee2a253f0b0674f614830737a6d53993b47c78b9bf

any insight on what the problem?

the transaction is unconfirmed from past 48hrs .

how will i know if the btc got kicked back to the senders wallet?

what are the chances of it not getting confirmed at all(btc getting lost) according to the fee?

Send or Receive to that address?

If you are trying to receive bitcoin from that address/someone sent you 0.285 bitcoin, ask them if the transaction is verified. If it is, the user who sent you bitcoin might have sent it to the wrong address.

Any information from the sender?  Any confirmation of the transaction completed? Transactions are verified before they are accepted. Verification could be the cause of delay but confirm from the sender first. Then you can move forward.

The transaction is unconfirmed. The sender must have set an extremely low fee. The best you can do is prob. tell him to raise the fee or wait.

First of all the sender should have used a higher fee ( 50 sat/byte is well below the average)
If he enabled replace-by-fee function, he can speed it up easily (with higher fee)

you (or sender) can try accelerate tx with  https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
or paid version from btc.com https://pushtx.btc.com/#/

what are the chances of it not getting confirmed at all(btc getting lost) according to the fee?

Your tx has been included in a ViaBTC block.
Next time, you should check mempool stats (cointape.com)
and set an appropriate fee based on what you see.

FYI, if your tx is not confirmed within 72 hours your coins will "return" to your wallet.
(It is more complicated than that, but that is the simple version.)

From another thread, someone suggested to use the https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ . Many people using this and having a successful transaction. As there are many people  also using this services, please be  patient to resubmit until it is processed. Thanks also that you already received your bitcoin.
